She's my great-great grandmother. Any info or pictures of Lena or her family would be greatly appreciated.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Thanks for the researched bio on this memorial. I have added to her memorial with credit to you. I also located her parents and provided links to them. Could not locate her two brothers Watson and Coyle, maybe later after a volunteer does their memorials. Your help is greatly appreciated.
Blessings, Patricia

Please transfer this memorial to me.

Thanks in advance.

I am preparing a book on Hale Couch Cemetery and Princeton Cemetery. I grew up in the Cord Mill. Use to clean the cemetery as a child and teenager. Special meaning to me since I know descendants of most of the people buried there.

Thanks for all that you do.

Hope Cemetery
Wow, that was a hard duplicate to find.
I think there has to be a better way to handle multiply marriages. I never did find her in search, then scanned the W's.
Anyway, it's gone. Did you see the awful photo someone put on the memorial I made. Then, did you see the fantastic photo "Fitch" put on the orginial?
I have crossed paths with him several times.
Happy Resaerching, Bud
PS Would you like the extras I have made for Chestnut Grove in Dacula and First Baptist in Lilburn? I did a coule of requests close by and Chestnut Grove is on the way to see the kids. BB

Her maiden name was Simmons, and her first husband was Charles Wiseman Sr. and then Anderson was her 2nd husband. Thought you need that information to fix her name. Thanks

Mary Rousey Bond
FamilySearch has her listed as Clara Rousey Bond. Do you think she might have been named Clara Mary Rousey Bond.

RE: Bowden's
Sorry Ann - thought I had transferred the whole family. It is done now though. Thank you very kindly for the flower and sweet words for Mama. If there are any other transfers I can make into your care, let me know; I have little family in GA. Thank you again.

Thanks Ann. Billy was my brother-in-law by my first marriage (George Sparks Frederick. His sister Gloria was married to Billy) Trying to get Bill's sister Runelle (Find A Grave Memorial# 128274430) link into family and Billy's daughter Melissa (Find A Grave Memorial# 40805767). Been a real trip on Runelle as she was married twice and I can't find much on her death other than April 2014.
If you are on ancestry my information on this family is under my sign in of jackgoode4148.
Glad to help in any way.

If was kiled, not mortally wounded,at Malvern Hill,
he is probably buried in Oakwood Cemetery,Richmond.
This is assuming his body was located.

RE: Oakwood or Hollywood?
Hi Ann, I looked at his military records. If he died in battle it looks like they buried him on the field of battle. I don't have him at Oakwood and I looked him up at Hollywood on find a grave and he's not there. He might be one of the many Confederate Soldiers buried on the battlefield and his body never recovered. Next thing I guess would look for a cenotaph in a family cemetery. Good luck, Mike B.

Ann, I don't know who he was married to. Yes, please check it out and let me know. Maybe you are correct and there was an accident or something. Maybe by checking it out, you will find more on yours and possibly more on mine, too. I will be waiting to hear. Thanks.

RE: W H Johnson
Hi Ann
Wow, what a day. When the fog finally lifted here we went to Conyers again over the tax stuff and then had a nice dinner and wandered around. I never did make it over to Covington. Maybe tomorrow, but working on the Hurst Family Cemetery. I would like to find it and photograph what there is left.
Regards, Bud

Ann, not only do I also enjoy a good challenge, but I looove Weimariners! Have had 4 in my time and used to train them back in the '70's. Fabulous animals!! Anyway, the Johnsons I gave you are the only ones I know of, besides my cousins, so no help there. The Johnson's also connect to ROWLAND's, of which I have a ton of info.
Take care, keep a sharp eye out, enjoy Spring, and lem'me know if I can help or if you find anything! Brenda

My Brother Randy

Thanks! I will be more than glad to manage his Find A Grave Memorial. I am still in hopes the family can place a memorial plaque in one of the cemeteries where his deceased extended family are presently located, such as Ephesus, Lower Lotts Creek, Eastside, etc., all located here in the Bulloch County, Georgia area where he was raised.

RE: W. H. Johnson
Hey there! Ward Holt Johnson, b. abt. 1871 GA, was my The 1880 Saline Co. AR census lists his family: John b. abt 1826; Mary (no maiden) b. abt.1848; Children John b. abt. 1865, Charles abt. 1867, Ward Holt abt. 1871, and Luther abt. 1873....all shown as b. in GA (no county).

Ward may have died bet. 1895-1900 as wife Beulah Mae C. Carlton-Johnson is shown (with sons) living w/her mother in Benton, Saline, AR and listed as widow. However, I knew HER until I was 23, and family lore has it that he actually deserted proof of either which is driving me NUTS! She was remarried by 1900.

Eldest son of Ward & Beulah was Fred Lee Johnson. His son was Fred Holt Johnson (he is shown in 1930 as Fred L., then in WWII '43 as Fred H., and on m. certif. as Fred Holt, and CA death index as Fred Holt.

I can give you all kinds of info on any other member of my family, but Ward is the brick wall! Ticks me off as I've been searching for him since '65 and still can't find a thing! Thought I had him cornered with Buds (Find A Grave) info, but proved d. proved too early (1888). DANG! If anything else I can provide, lem'me know. Thanks for contacting me. Brenda

I found more info on Lucy Deupree in that book. And I found her on Find A Grave # 93257595. She's linked to her husband #1, James Johnson. I linked H Whit to them as parents and added a little more to the bio for Whit. Also sent a SAC on Lucy to make her last name into her maiden name, and add " Lumpkin" as her last name.

I can search a bit, can you give me more specifics about Ward Holt Johnson? Have you found him in any censuses? Where did he live?

RE: WH Johnson
Sorry I can't remember that part.
She put flowers on W. H. Johnson's aka William H. Johnson's memorial so you can get in touch with her that way.
When I can I want to get a family photo on that plot. It is a morning shot, so I am limited to weather and morning time.

Yes, I think you have found his D.C. I did a bunch of research this morning and just must quit now. Filled out quite a bit of his background, thanks to Ancestry and 2 books I own. Thanks for the info.
