Sybil Singleton
Hi Bill. I see you took a photo of Sybil's mother's marker, #13374110, which is a double marker. Could you check to see if the marker has been updated with Sybil's date of death and post a new photo for both if so?
Thanks!

Sorry, the other went without the message. You placed a photo on the above, but also a photo of a person (same name) born 18 year later. Could you check on that? Thanks

Angela Kay Key
RE: Bray Family Cemetery
G.K. Bumble and Thomas Richardson found it and took me to see it. It's on private land, South of I-20 off of Hwy 450.

32 degrees 27' 59" N
94 degrees 35' 06" W

G. K.'s son was also with us.

Once we were there, Thomas Richardson and I discovered that we are distant cousins. Our G-grandmothers were Ferrell sisters. This cemetery is on land owned by Lewis Ransom Bray after the Civil War. Please let me know if there is any kind of a marking or sign put up. G. K. mentioned possibly getting one.

You said the Briggs family cemetery was at Waskom. I only know of the one at Karnack. That is located on private property with a locked gate.

Ann Bonfoey Hallman
Davis Brainerd Bonfoey
My 2nd great-grandparents, Davis and Emily Bonfoey are buried in the Marshall, Texas cemetery. I was very pleased to find them on FindAGrave.com. Emma was an educator and ran a girls' school in Marshall for some years. Davis was mayor in 1861 and 1864. He was elected Harrison County Judge in September 1865, but relinquished that to become Collector of Internal Revenue. I'd like to add more information to what you have contributed. Can you advise?
Thank you.

Temple Emanu-El Cemetery
Wow, this is gonna truly be confusing to a lot of people. They will be putting up duplicates, I fear. We will probably have them in both cemeteries unless the funeral homes are going to start designating the cemetery as Temple Emanu-El.

Hi Bill, thanks so much for the many hours spent for the love of family history. I am unable to read the inscription on this man's marker (a nice one). Will you please add it to Find A Grave?
Many thanks,

Clifford Williams
Offering my help
Bill,

I've noticed your name all over findagrave, and now I know why! I recently started looking for headstones for out of state folks. Just wanted to offer my help if you would like to "divide and conquer" here in Harrison county. I work shift work, so my schedule allows me to have a lot of time off during the week. I appreciate the goal of documenting all the sites and want to be a part of that. Contact me at cdwilliams@justemail.net or here if you are interested.
