Hi Linda,
Thanks for taking care of that. I am a descendant of the Cupples, Lego is a name of a person that married into my Bayle line. Take care.

Hi Linda, while researching the above memorial, I came across one set up back in 2008 #25785570 and now she appears listed twice in the memorial with the family connections. I believe that this memorial should be deleted, as it is a duplicate.

Please look them over and you'll see. Thanks.

Yes. If you are on the main road and facing the cemetery (up the hill) there are three or four "middle" sections and a large section all across the top of the hill. I've photographed (from left to right) about 3 sections and across the top. I've never run into a caretaker so I don't even know who does it. Lots of cemeteries hire the grass cutting and don't even have a caretaker.

Wow! My photo doesn't help me remember where he might be. I'm thinking it may be on the very top of the hill between the middle and the right. I looked at the date I took it and that's the section I did that day along with the "third" middle section.

I did not input the information about where he was born. I walk through the cemetery frequently and just started to take pictures of the markers. If there was not already a memorial set up on Find A Grave, I would set it up with information on the marker. Somebody suggested that information as an edit to the memorial. I think that they posted a message on my page thanking me for updating the memorial. You might want to check with them.

I will be adding her gravestone picture today, hopefully. But wanted to let you know that the plots to either side of her have no headstones. Either her spoyse is buried elsewhere or there was no headstone purchased

I went back in my records, I denied this as not a mandatory transfer since" Rebecca is one of my 2x great grandmothers" does not qualify for a transfer.

I'm working on photographing that whole cemetery but between 2 jobs and H-O-T weather (if it's not thunder storming), it's been a long process. I have about 3/5 of it done. The really hard ones are coming up - the really OLD ones.

RE: Elias Skelton #106117567
Hi Linda,

I transferred Elias to you. If there's anyone else that you're looking for in this neck of Penn's Woods, just let me know!

Also, I noticed a photo request for Mary Skelton in the Penningtonville Cemetery (across the street from the Atglen Methodist Cemetery). I have been there and looked and looked 5 or 6 different times and couldn't find her. That doesn't mean she isn't there though. There are a LOT of stones there that are unreadable and a few that are missing. Also, the "Baptist" section and the "Presbyterian" section are pretty much intermixed now, although early Baptist burials were in the easternmost part of the cemetery. There is nothing that distinguishes between the two. I looked all over though! Not sure if she is related or not to Elias.

Happy Hunting!

Feel free to send links and a bio, you can add photos without anyone's permission. A second great grandmother is not a mandatory transfer and due to too many abuses from members, I transfer mandatory only.

Sorry I don't have a plot map or a caretaker name/address/number. It is a very large cemetery. All I can tell you is looking at it from the road that passes in front of it that it is divided into three or four sections and the oldest part would be on your right, the newest on your left.

Susan (Cupples) Walters is listed as a child of Stephen Franklin Cupples. To change the parents of Susan (Cupples) Walters you would have to submit a correction to the owner of her memorial page. The correct father of Susan is: Stephen Cupples memorial #144689595.
