|Catherine Clemens Sevenau||Cage - Gallatin, TN|
Hi Susan, thank you for all the information you sent on the Cages buried in Gallatin City Cemetery. There are already Find A Grave pages for them, and none appear to be any that I am missing. Your time and efforts are much appreciated! Catherine

|Russ_T||RE: Koenig in Calvary Cemetery|
I have hit a bit of a stone wall with the Koenigs in Calvary. I know that Peter (Memorial# 110241037) and Margaret (Memorial# 110241063) are buried in Section 8, Range 35, Plot BB. The office at Calvary say that there are a total of 5 people in that plot. I do not have names and dates for any of the other three and Calvary will give me the names for a fee of $110. Not having a spare $110 to give them, I am unable to obtain the information.

Thank you very much for considering my request. As we approach April, for many reasons, I hope your weather gets warm and wonderful soon.

About a year ago, you claimed my request for a photo of the grave marker of my 2nd great grandparents, Peter (Memorial# 110241037) and Margaretha (Memorial# 110241063) Koenig in Calvary Cemetery (Section 8, Range 35, Plot BB, Grave 9). I am most grateful to you for posting the photo to their memorials. Since then, I have learned that there are three other individuals in the same grave area, but do not know their names. Would you be so kind, on your next visit to Calvary, to see if there are markers with the surname Koenig, Konig, or King in the plot? If there are, would you be kind enough to photograph the markers and provide me with the names in order that I can create memorials for them. There are seven known possibilities - Mary, Peter, Andrew, Joseph, Margaret, Johannes, and Anna. There an additional three children whose name I do not have, yet.

Many thanks for going in search of a memorial for Sheldon Bodden. Sad that there was nothing to be found but your efforts are appreciated. I have asked the page contributor to put a note on the page to the effect that there is no marker.

Thanks for checking for his remains at Fresh Pond Crematory...interesting that he is not in a niche there...I hope to find a photograph of Franz one day.

Thank you very much for the time and effort you spent in attempting to find the niche for Sarah Alexander. Also thank you for the contact information.
Because her remains aren't at the crematory I'm guessing that her niece, with whom she was living at that time, took possession of them.
Thanks again for all you help.

I really do not know, but doubt it as the Negishi name has been in constant use since the 1800s. My cousin actually took the photo and had visited there in 1993. At that time the cemetery was full.

I've been remiss in thanking you. Thanks so much for the Henry Ries photo and taking the trouble to transcribe the info from the weathered headstone.

I did create the 3 additional memorials which were included in the headstone so you could add the picture.

Susan - Thanks so much for taking your time and making hte effort to locate a stone for Pat Coates and his family. Evidently, this was a family that did not have the means to place a stone. Best of good luck with your own research.

|Jim Gudenrath||RE: Marie and Emil Gudenrath|
Susan - Thanks for the clarifications on the dates. Estelle was actually born on the 1888 date, and lived at least until 1940 because she is in that Census. She had no family, so the 1888 engraving was probably done when her mother died in 1928. I'll see if the office has a death date for her. Thanks a million for all of your help! Best, Jim

Hi Susan -
Thanks for you terrific help on the photos. Would you mind confirming to me the death dates on the urn. I am having trouble reading them clearly, and I'm not sure I have them right. Also, do you know the death date for Estelle from your info from the office. I know she died after 1940, but can't find an actual date and the urn isn't engraved. And thanks again for being so kind about all of this.

Thank you so much for the photos. I am embarrassed to tell you that i did ask Carol's daughter to take some photos but apparently she feels i am pulling skeletons out of the closet.
Thank you again. I live in Rapid City, South Dakota so i really do appreciate your help with this.

Since you had originally "claimed" my Rossmann requests, will you be re-claiming now that the locations have been added? I am holding off the publication of a family genealogy awaiting these images.
