I received your message regarding Mr. Gannaway and his wife. I wish I knew the answer to your question. I am not the creator of this memorial, merely the one who maintains the memorials created by Stoneshooter, who has since become inactive. I see that the Gannaways are in her family line. If you are in the family line I'll be happy to transfer this memorial to you for maintenance.
kindest regards, LBruns

Thank you Gerald for catching that....I'm unsure why it's there, but I sent a message to Lois, who placed the headstone photo there....will keep you posted.....Harv

Hi Gerald, I wanted 2 let U know that I have come across more Cook family info. It is concerning John &Lucinda (Brunson) Cook. I got cemetery pics and dates and more. John had 2 marriages. His 2nd wife was Eliza C. Hicks. All of the info is on Find A Grave. I am adding it to my Cook tree now. I think I had a bunch of Brunson info also. I found it at Yalobusha, MS. The Cooks R in the Cook cemetery.

As a relatively new member, you may not be aware of the protocols and policies by which the site operates, so I will explain. The issue you raise, that of Northern Ireland not existing at the time, the answer to that is simple: per FindAGrave protocol, and Mark, the country shown is what it is called TODAY, not what it was called in the 1600's. Indeed, there is no county called Armagh in Ireland listed in the database. That is not a 'free form' field. If you wish to verify this for yourself, you need only go to one of your own memorials, select 'country' as Ireland, then select the 'county' listing. I believe you will see that 'Armagh' is NOT listed. However, if you select Northern Ireland as 'country', and then select the 'county' listing, you will see Armagh listed. Therefore, if I wish to list the county as Armagh, I have no choice but to use Northern Ireland. The other option would be to list only Ireland and no county name. I chose the former over the latter.

Thank you. Yes, I wanted to include her maidan name in the search. We miss her dearly but so happy for her homecoming. Linda Watson Schultz

I was looking at Crittenden Memorial Park Cemetery's page and discovered there are two memorials for Jo Hazel (Umphrey) Watson. One is yours and the other belongs to Linda Schultz. I just thought I would let you know there is a duplicate.

Hi, I think I do. What was her birthdate? My connection down in MS was Lucinda J. Brunson born in 1828 died in 1884. My regular email is email@example.com if you want to connect there. I am Denise L. (Hamilton)Rancour.

Hi, I added James info with Harriet as requested. My GMA on my mothers side was Anna Mae Hollandsworth and that is why I have them in my listings. They would be cousins to me. Are you also related? I see you are also interested in the Brunson name. That is in my Cook family lines. Mine were in South Caroline, Mississippi and Texas.

|No Reins||Albert Philetus Brown information|
Not for sure as to where he was born, shown both ways in census records. But as for my records I show his birthplace as being born in Ohio since the children born before him are born in Ohio. Oldest brother was born in Broome County, New York.

You are quite right! I have no idea who gave this information to me (I have now begun putting names on the memorial giving credit to those folks who "donate" information.)
Anyway since these is so much confusion and you seem to be knowledgeable about them, I am going to transfer the memorial to you for your care and keeping.
Many thanks for all you do.

|GraveTracker||John J. McInerny|
Hi Gerald, I have transferred John J. and Mary McInerny to you. And to answer your question of how I got my info as to his last name, I had to go back through emails, I received a correction from another Find A Grave member to change his middle name. But to my knowledge that individual has no connection so I went to the cemetery and took photos of the headstones and added them to their memorials. And then I changed his middle name to Joseph. If their is anything else I can do to help you with your research, please let me know. Gravetracker :)

As stated in my profile, I usually don't like adding obituaries. Nothing personal, I just don't like to. I do like transferring management of the memorial in question to the person with the request. I hope you don't mind. Thank you and take care.

Thanks for catching my mistake, changes have been made. I've been working at Eastside for almost 2 years making memorials & taking photos. I've made a few mistakes in the process. Thanks to good people looking at Find A Grave we can make changes.
