RE: Rachel Harrod Lane
Hi Tammy,

Yes, I am one of Rachel's descendants, through her son William Percy Lane.

Several people on Ancestry.com seem to think that her parents were John Harrod (1770 PA - 1814 OH) and Mary Stockton (1776 - 1831 OH). That may be true, but I haven't gotten around to confirming it, and none of the Ancestry trees provide evidence for the link, so I am loathe to add it to my tree just yet.

As you probably know, Rachel's husband John Corbin Lane's great-grandparents Dutton Lane and Pretitia Tydings were both born in Anne Arundel County.

I would love to hear any information you might have about Rachel's ancestry, and would be happy to share what I know. If you have access to Ancestry.com, my tree includes everything I know about the family; my username is mtbelanger1 and the tree is A Tilley Family Tree. If not, then feel free to ask questions here and I'll endeavor to answer them.

All the best,
Marta

Coopers
Hi Tammy, I have transferred 3 to your care. You may have to sign out and sign back in again to see that they now belong to you. Was a pleasure to have been able to help you out in locating and getting photo's of these 3. I believe some of his children are located in a Cemetery in New Lenox, IL. Kind regards, Julie

RE: John Cooper
Hi Tammy, I posted the Memorials, but if I recall correctly, the information I added was given to me by someone who works for the Historical Society. I just went onto Ancestry to see if I could locate him. The only Coopers from Will County did happen to come from Pennsylvania. To be certain, you can contact the Will County Historical Society. There had been some vandalism to Mound Cemetery but your Cooper Headstone was not damaged. Thank Goodness. Would you like a transfer of these 3 Cooper Memorials to your care. I really don't mind and prefer they be with family. But if not, that's ok too. Kind regarsds. Julie
