RE: headstone-Pace Cemetery
I did find a few others that were not in the find a grave page. I have added one and will add a couple more today. There are several that only have the metal markers and there are probably many more that are un-marked or the stones have crumbled or have sunken beneath the ground. I did not find any with the Wells surname. There is another cemetery in the area that is near Ouachita 2. I saw a large headstone with the name Wells on it. I will look there next time we are out that way, just to see if Willis may be there. It was an adventure getting there. I have the originals and will send them to you if you want. Message me your email address to me on facebook and I'll send you some photos of the entrance from the road, the large oak tree, the sign, and the original headstone photos. So glad to be able to help!

RE: Idell Wells Smith
She was the wife of my grandfather's first cousin. I do not have any information on the Wells.

Hi, Jen-Marie ...

I'm not sure about the origin of her parental info in this case, but her father's name and her mother's name are stated as "Subrum Wells" and "Sally Haltom Wells" on her Ancestry.com Family Tree. If you have other information, please share it with me.

What John D. Hogue are you referring to exactly?

Okay, Jen-Marie ... I also am just an amateur when it comes to detailed genealogical research. Please let me know if I need to make other adjustments to Mrs. Smith's memorial.

RE: Susan Smith
Hey, Jen-Marie ...

I'm not sure where my data came from on Susan; do you think she was the daughter of Robert N. Vines (b.abt.1846 MS) and Julia Brazeal Vines (b.abt.1846 LA)? The 1880 census shows this family living in Union County, AR. Also, do you know where Jefferson Davis Smith, her husband, is buried?
