Probably the only way to tell is to get her death certificate from NY state. That should let you know the ultimate disposition.

Good luck!

It is very odd. Typically, the register shows if a person has been removed from another cemetery and re-interred at West Laurel Hill. But I do not see a notation for that. I do see an article in the New York Times 13 February 1912 announcing her death.

A mystery!!! :)

I uploaded the photo for Elizabeth F. Grdier that I found in the Pioneer Cemetery.

Sorry, but I do not now anything about the Henry Grider revolutionary war marker or Mr. Grider's rank in the war.

There is another Bowling Green, KY website that mentions Henry Grider in the Pioneer Cemetery.

As I was looking for Henry & Elizabeth Grider I also ran across an Elizabeth F. Grider in the same cemetery. I have a photo of that grave also. Please request a photo for her and I will upload it. Also I found on the Bowling Green, KY website a list of the graves as compiled in 1939. I've listed the website address below and a list of 10 Grider's in the cemetery.

I did not see these graves in the cemetery but they are there. Many of the stones have inscriptions that are no longer visible. Some graves have no stones or stones with no inscriptions.
