Harold Klavestad Johnson in Strum
Hi Tim. I was able to verify the Harold Johnson in St Pauls index in Strum was our Harold Johnson. Here is his Find A Grave 139154113. I just added the obituary. I think I forgot to have my cousin invite you to my ancestry tree. You might get email in Spam. I'll ask him now! Thanks.

Klavestads, Hanestad and Johnson
Hi Tim.

I definitely found Mads, his wife Marhta and children, Mads and wife are buried in St. Pauls cemetery. I found them in the index, they had not been entered yet into Find A Grave, so I entered them. I I have probably entered about 200 or so records into St. Pauls now, but still have a couple hundred more to go, Im just working on it as I can and find a link through others by marriage.

Also, for some reason, I did not have Siri linked to her Frodahl parents, so I linked them up. If you have a chance and go into Find A Grave, you will see additional info now on Mads, John J and Harold. Im pretty sure the John J Johnson in St Pauls is their John, but I hope to find an obit as I said before. Still have not tracked down Harold yet, but hoping. Will keep looking. So far, its been productive. I think I can send you an email to look at my tree in and you just have to register as a guest or something like that for free. I know I sent a link to my Mom and she can see my tree, but not do anything. I have your email, so I will send you an invite. It will come to your email from so it may go to spam. But it should say something like Cyndi invites you. My ancestry name is bergseeker . Talk to you soon!

Hi Tim. I already found some hints on Harold and Jihn Jihnson and Mads Hanestad. I'll see if I can come up with some more info. I definitely found Mads in at least two census and pretty sure I know correct Harold and maybe he died in 1963, hopefully I can find an obit. Harold Johnson pretty common name! I'll let you know what I find. Do you have an ancestry account?

Update to Otto Klavestad
Hi Tim. I just wanted yo let you know that Jim S photographed a memorial stone for Otto Klavestad, which also shows his and parents stones (if you look closely), in St Paul's cemetery. I did just see their names in an index of St Paul's a couple weeks ago when I was reviewing it again. He created a record for Otto with photo, but I know would be happy to transfer if you request. I already changed the location for his parents. I also updated a couple records with photos you had provided me. It shows I uploaded them, but I listed you in the caption.

Hi T Henry, never expected any kind of result
from this memorial. By the looks of this cemetery
they do not take very good care of it.
I am a Burt from the Franklin Burt side, which
comes from Vermont. It may be that because most
burials are farmers. Anyway, I would be interested in how you are related. My mother and uncle were born up in Enosburgh Falls, Vt.
If you go to the Main St. Cemetery in Enosburg, Vt.,in F.A.G., most of my folks are buried there. And I
have cousins living in NH and CT.
Thanks for writing.

RE: Samuel Hubbell
I have a couple of children or babies and a daughter-in-law that I don't know who they are..The markers are so faded I am having a hard time with them I am probably going to go ahead and post them and see if anyone has a line on them..I am guessing Samuel's wife is buried next to him but there is no marker..I had thought when I first was running things that Mary Ann who has a marker was a wife but I couldn't find Mary Ann at all but for what her marker said and I need to recheck Shaddrick Hubbell and his wife Malinda Chapel and their son...I have to go back at some point this fall and retake or find 3 more people..One is tipped almost on the ground and the other I couldn't read it and then when I checked I got confused becuase the man had a Mother, wife and daughter with the same name so I wasn't sure who the marker was to and I skipped it and forgot to go back and do it..The original poster did what was on the marker...No year of birth and no family connections..Finding a lot of the burials are tied to the Chapel family...

Samuel Hubbell
The whole cemetery is in such condition..There are more Hubbells buried here but I am having a hard time as I don't know the family and most of the markers are faded and not readable..The person who logged the cemetery did what was exact on the stones so I am having a hard time figuring out dates that I pulled from the census and such..Chris

Last year, my sister Susan Seidelman Feltes and I photographed the entire cemetery and gave copies to the Cemetery Association, the Lutheran Church, the Strum Public Library and the Osseo Public Library.
Each year, I fly back to Osseo WIS and spend a month with my sister gathering information, making charts, photographing and gathering as much information as we can. I come back to California and spend the winter making the books. So far we've done about 25-30 photo books for many of the cemeteries in the Osseo / Eau Claire area. We donate them to the associations and currently Osseo Public Library has one of the best genealogical sections and many people spend hours there researching. The books are done in color and I provide a DVD with each book that people can copy on their computer.
It's a great way to spend my retirement.
Glad you found her.

Glad you found your uncle. I'm having problems with AOL and Findagrave and can't get in to change dates, etc.
Please add the information you have and update the memorial.
My sister lives in Osseo and when I spend a month each summer in Wisconsin and we photograph cemeteries - I return to California and work on books for the cemeteries and the Osseo Public Library.
Welcome to Findagrave...
