RE: Brashear / Michela
Do you want them transferred to you? I was neighbors of John and Clara's. Plus knew them from the grocery store. My boys use to mow their lawn.

Stiarwalt Request
I don't manage the listing for Effie Stiarwalt Brashear # 22126737, so I have requested they update her record.

RE: Roy Thomas Watts gravestone
I have contacted the individual who posted the gravestone photo and made her aware that it was posted on the wrong memorial. Thanks.

RE: Margaret Flickinger
Hi Jolene, I'm not related to the Flickinger family but I did take the grave photos. That's nice that you have all the family history. I don't add things to memorials unless I have documentation for them, but if you want to manage this memorial, I can transfer it to you. Janet

RE: Huddleston - Sanders Marriage
I have actual copy of marraige - think it should be Jeptha and not Septha (Index) Sanders. Wonder why they traveled so far to be married. Marriage record says they are both from Macoupin County, IL

Maybe Abram Huddleston did not approve? Elizabeth was only 15!! She would have needed permission.

Macoupin County, Illinois Record Book No. One

p.43 John Huddleston estate appraised in the value of $686.25 by James Wheeler Daniel Huddleston Abraham Huddleston March 1, 1838."

"p. 227 Abram Huddleston, guardian for Samuel Huddleston, Elizabeth Huddleston, Melvina Huddleston, Robert Huddleston, Malinda Huddleston, Mary Ellen Huddleston, and Lydia Huddleston, minor heirs of John Huddleston, deceased, filed a request for the court to require William Huddleston and Thomas Huddleston, Administrators of John Huddleston, deceased.

The court ordered the remaining sum of $47.50 distributed among the lawful heirs. It was further ordered by the court that judgment be entered against the Administrators for the cost of this suit. ($11.75).

Please e-mail me at

Do you mean Elizabeth Sanders in the Wheeler Cemetery in Macoupin County, Illinois?

My project is to document everyone buried in the Wheeler cemetery and link them to their ancestors and descendant. I have found all the Huddleston's in this cemetery are related. I am also related to all Huddleston's and Wheeler's in this cemetery - my grandmother was a Wheeler.

Have A LOT of info on the Huddleston's.

Walter Harris
I believe the Walter Harris born in 1896 has the wrong tombstone picture.
Someone wrote me about this.

Thanks so very much for the photo. It helps a lot when you're not able to get to all off these cemeteries.
