RE: Photo request
I don't know what you mean by "old" or "new". There are a few graves behind the church, but it's my understanding that they haven't been burying people in that cemetery in a long time. There is a 6-square-block cemetery across the bayou, on the Old Kaplan Hwy. I think this is the newer one, although some of the graves in that cemetery might be over 100 years old. It has over 6,000 graves. The ones I photographed for you are in that cemetery. A-2 is the section. It's near the two mausoleums in the northeast corner. I know this cemetery well. There are multiple cemeteries listed on Find-A-Grave that are the same physical cemetery. This happens when people aren't careful. The cemetery on Find-A-Grave where you put those two memorials has a total of 22 memorials. There is another cemetery called St. Mary Magdalene that has nearly 1,000 memorials. They're the same physical cemetery. I have a master list from about 2005 for that cemetery. All the names are on my master list. I'm trying to sort all this out myself, and see if I can get Find-A-Grave to correct it. In the meantime, I just photographed the graves as you requested.
