|Ellen Johnson||Philomena Dreegar|
Deborah, I uploaded my photo of Philomena's headstone. I'm sorry it's not a better photo. Perhaps someone could get a better one that is not obstructed by grass. Let me know if that happens, and I'll delete mine from the record. Sorry it took me so long ... Ellen

|Phoebefinder||Mae & Herbert Band|
Mae is my paternal grandmother and Herbert a step grandfather. A cousin told me they were buried at Mt. Mariah but I was told they had no records of their burial at the Cemetery. In 2007 The Historical Society of Pennsylvania couldn't find records either. I'm in California so I won't be able to search for their grave markers but thanks so much for posting the information.

Thanks for posting Mae and Herbert Band, Mount Mariah Cemetery, in Philadelphia. Where did you find the records? There was a photo of the Gate of Mt. Mariah but no photos of the grave markers. Were they unable to be found?

You are very welcome. I am glad I could help. I have updated his memorial today as well.

Hi Deb, Thanks for the edits. Are these relations of yours or your just generally improving things? I'm with new job and much less time to work on F-a-G. All the Best - rob

|Rebecca Ellis||RE: William and Maggie Taylor|
Well now, that's interesting. A shared monument usually indicates they were family, but I guess they could have been really close friends or neighbors. But the Taylors and Schempfs even have matching individual grave markers -- looks to me like family! If you are interested in pursuing an answer to this mystery, the cemetery office might be able to help you.

Good luck :)

You're welcome -- it was a beautiful day and I enjoyed getting out. If you click on one of the pictures you can read the caption explaining the layout of the Taylor/Schempf graves.

Hi, I sent you edits for Robert Aldinger's parents as I believe them to be. Please feel free to decline the edits. Based on my research, William Henry Aldinger married Julia Perkes/Pirkas/Perkis about 1900. (See the 1910 census for members of the household in ED 234 of Philadelphia 2104 Callowhill Street.) The Stella Perkis listed there is my grand aunt, married to Julia's son John.
The maiden name of Guyerson came from the Philadelphia Death Certificate of Julia & John Perkes' son, Charlie; born 1896 & died 1906.
Thank you for your consideration,

No problem for the edits. I know of some Hales down in VA, and I think I found a Hale in that cemetery who was born in VA. I am related to the VA Hales by distant marriage. Even if I'm not related, I just like searching for people and adding information I find or requesting links.

|K Ann ||Find A Grave Memorial# 141353602 Kathryn F Montgomery Alexander|
Could you kindly share your source for plot information on Katherine Francis Montgomery Alexander? I am attempting to find the headstones for my relations in Mt Moriah and I can't locate plot information for Katherine in the Mt Moriah database owned by the Genealogical Society of Phila. Looks like you have an alternate, and possibly better source.

Not necessary, thanks. My relationship is extremely distant, but somehow ancestry is sending me information about this interesting family.

You have requested some corrections on William Talbot's memorial. I was going by the headstone and the information is accurate according to it. I prefer to keep the information from the headstone unless I am absolutely sure some other information is correct.
But I do not know this man. If you would like me to transfer management of this memorial to you, I would be happy to do so.

|Joseph L Linderman||Jennie & Thomas Anderson|
You created a memorial for Jennie Anderson buried in Mount Moriah Cemetery in Philadelphia. You note her plot and grave number. I am wondering if her husband Thomas Anderson is also buried in the same plot. There are 2 other Tom Anderson in Mount Moriah but i think they are in different areas and not related. Can you add any information?

That looks like something that my husband added to that memorial since he has a lot of family ties to Ohio. But I'm sure he won't mind if you use the picture---which had to have come from some old book that was long out of copyright.
Thanks for your interest, and best wishes.

|Bill Daugherty||RE: Bogardus-141334253 & 141334252|
Technically I'm not related to Martin and Anna. I'm a distant cousin of their son-in-law, John Amos Witmer. John would be their daughter, Fannie's husband.
I would, however, be glad to take stewardship of their memorials as their names appear in my Herr Family records, and I also put in photo requests for their grave markers.
I would also be glad to pass them on to more closely related family members, if they happen to come across them on Findagrave.
