Larry, I transcribed the info in the photocopy in the photo section. I placed it in the area for transcription.

Now you will need to remove your photocopy. No photocopy is allowed on a memorial, other than the death certificate. Otherwise, just pictures are allowed there.

Thank you,

Hi Larry,

I noticed that you added family links to this memorial, are you related and if so, would you like to manage the memorial?

Josephine Kania 1915-2004...
...Was the daughter of Frederick Woodward and Anna Gertrude Holdsworth, wife of Stanley Edward Kania and mother of Irene Kania. The obituary that you posted on her memorial supports this information. Would you be so kind as to amend her memorial to reflect this? I've also submitted some edits that would link her to her parents.

Thank you so much.

Thomas A Royal
Still looking for soldiers...have a Thomas A. Royal 1844-7/7/1862 in Savannah. Co. H. 50th Ga regt. on roster of Confederate soldiers from Moultrie, GA U.D.C. Could this one be your Thomas A?? Have you run into this one?

LeJean Mercier

Please do not submit this suggested edit again. I declined it yesterday and I have declined it today. I added a note that you said her first name is NOT LaJean. Since LaJean, did not go by her first and it would make it more difficult for people to locate her on Find A Grave.

Not sure what you meant...I did not find his WWI draft added???Feel free to do so.

My gggrandmother was a Royal ( Houston and Schley counties) and My mother in law was related to the Story family of Worth county so I am distantly kin! Whenever I see those names, I photo and add to Find A Grave and hope to figure it out later! Mostly a volunteer working on finding civil war soldiers at the moment!

Thank you for your concern. I and others have sent post to the man who put this Tombstone on the wrong memorial...It is also on the Wiley Whitley Jr memorial...I guess Find A Grave will be the one to delete it? I have never had this to happen before, so can't advise you. Sorry

Royal, Alfred
I have connections to the Royals through my on Bass, Parker and Story lines. But, I have been researching the Royal Family, for my nephew, Tony Royal. Since these are for him, I would prefer not to transfer. I hope you can understand this. Thanks, Winnette

RE: James Nettles gravemarker
Thanks, Larry.

I will forward anything you do to his family. I have collected several photos of James R. Nettles.

None exist on the internet that I know of. I plan to publish an article before these photos are released and then I will post them to your memorial.

SGT James Nettles (i.e. "Jimmie") was the *only* officially listed KIA from the US Intervention in Beirut, Lebanon in 1958. Although there were other casualties, they were classified officially as accidents or friendly fire.

James Nettles gravemarker
Hi Larry,

I put in a photo request for James Nettles and added in remarks that the current one seemed to have been taken on a rainy day and the rain darkened the front of the marker.

I added that I was hopeful to obtain an additional photo perhaps taken on a clear sunny day.

I then got an alert that the photo request was fulfilled but it was the same photo as before with no additional photo.

I am working with Jame's surviving brother and sister on creating and publicizing several memorials, so a sharper, additional photo would add a lot of value.

I know you do a lot for Find a Grave so I don't mean to speak for your time, but could you leave the request open if you won't be the one taking the photo.

Please consider. Thank you.

I added the date of death for Emilie Dugger but the headstone does not support this date. According to the headstone she was 2 years 6 months and 6 days old at the time of her death.

I made corrections to C Darby memorial. Thank you so much for notifying me. I was told that his family moved his body to Lake City? I noticed you added a photo of the sign of the Board of Trustees. Its a shame that 2 of those board members are deceased. They need to update the sign! And, elect a board!! Thanks again :)
