I am happy to add your information to the memorial. FYI my sister died this week and I have been busy making funeral arrangements, sorry if my timetable is not to your liking but yours is not the only request and you have not followed my very clear guidelines. Send your edits through the edit function.

If you want information added to a memorial, go to the memorial and use the "Edit" tab to send me the information-- including family links. I will add information to the memorial, I do not transfer just because someone wants to add links or other information. Bottom line: what are you planning on doing with the entry that I haven't already done or am unable to do?

Sarah Brown Dennison
I am the granddaughter of A. R. Dennison, mentioned on Sarah Brown Dennison's summary....Abraham Renick Dennison was the son of John Dennison and Julia Renick (1886-1967). She died in 1887 and then John married Sarah Brown. Abe was brought up as a son of Sarah's but the blood line would be Julia Renick. Thank you. Robbintina Kellum Harrison

Sure. I'd like to get copy of the obit you posted or at least the source you secured this info.

I met John Randsdall at the cemetery last Saturday morning. I have a phone number somewhere that I came across by let's say a circuitous route! He has cemetery plat, which list owners of each plot. But given the age of the cemetery, they didn't bother to keep track of who all was buried in each of these plots.
I my case, original plot was purchased by Jno Wilson. But the plot is large and holds many graves. Honestly, no way of knowing how many? There are 7 headstones, which I've loaded all to Find a grave using the new "ap" while I was in the graveyard. Very cool tool!
Cemetery is now tracking this, but folks are now being buring as "one-offs" or a couple. No more family plots. Advantage of family plot if you know everyone if related. Just have to figure out how. And this is proving to be a challenge in of itself!

Memorial 110881438
Hello:
I recently visited Jacksonville Cemetery. I added record of Jennie E Wilson memorial 128557798 while in the cemetery, but now see that your Jennie Elizabeth is likely the same person. As you only have what appears to be an obit ref, may I suggest you add this info to the memorial I've established?

My apology for duplicating your efforts.

thanks, Eric

You are absolutely right on all accounts. James Frederick&Fred R. are 2 different people. Checked with family member and we had it wrong.
Fred R. Lewman is listed in Fleming Co.,Kentucky death listings. Now the job of trying to strighten it all out. Maybebest to start all over.
Thanks
Danny

RE: Amelia Dawson
Thanks so much! I had found that marriage record a couple years ago, but wasn't certain they were the right people. I hadn't looked for her since then, but now see all the family tress. Do you know who her parents were and/or where James is buried? I don't think her stone is repairable, but at least she is documented. Thanks again!

On a family tree on ancestry - it says buried in Haley Graveyard - there are three but Bracken Co has no record of a marker for her.

Bracken Co Historical Society walked this cemetery in 1999. The cemetery was very overgrown and no marker was found for Hulda Snodgrass. I added your info to Samuel's memorial page.

Smith transfers
The management has been transferred to you. I have a question that led me to this cemetery to begin with. Was there any Esther Smith that you know of in the family? She would have married in 1800 to Nehemiah Roberts. The pastor who married them was Richard Thomas, who had a church in Bourbon County. I always felt that Esther might have been associated with these Smiths.

For each memorial you want transferred, hit the edit button at the top of the memorial, and send me your member number that way.

I would happily transfer the memorials you wish to update--I did not know they were your family. Let me know which ones. They are not my family. Do you happen to know if the cemetery was ever restored?

Oops I was looking at a different cemetery. Please send any corrections or additions for this cemetery and I will gladly add them--the best way is using the edit tab on the memorial to suggest a correction. I photographed the cemetery after a wind storm had wrecked it by taking trees down and stones with them. A helpful neighbor took me by and I documented as much as I could. Any other information would be great to have.

I would very much like to correspond. We are trying to sort out which Roberts came from which family to connect them to their ancestors who we know a great deal about. There are missing records however, and we are having difficulty sorting them out.
