Hi Barbara,

I've tweaked the image so the words on the marker are more clear. I hope that helps! Otherwise, when I'm in that area again, I'll retake the picture. Thanks!

You're quite welcome! Happy to help. Also took some additional photos for her parents, who were buried in the same Section/Lot.

I corrected Eva, but I cannot fix Anna as I do not "own" that memorial.

Have a lovely Sunday!

Sorry. The stones read: FATHER / CURTIS W. UTE / 1899 - 1945; and, beside it, MOTHER / MAE E. UTE / 1897 - 1973. There is some deterioration going on with both stones, with scale development. I do not know what causes this kind of deterioration, but I do see it occasionally, and it can mess up the inscriptions on monuments really bad. I do not attempt to clean this kind of stuff up, that can do more harm than good.

John S. and Mary Ann Poulson Clark
John S. Clark 1798-1864
Mary Ann Poulson Clark 1827-1921
Do you or anyone who might be reading this, have any info on the subjects? She was the second wife of John. In the 1870 census, she and 3 children/grandchildren lived in Darby Twp., Pickaway County. The only other record I have for them is the 1860 census when they lived in Pleasant Twp in Franklin County with his children from both marriages.

Thanks for any help you can give me.
