Knoll's in Dawson County Cemetery
Hi Dorothy,

FINALLY - I got around to taking close up pictures of John and Apollionia Knoll's marker, as I promised, and a close up picture of their photo which is on the marker also.

Have a great weekend!

Best wishes
High Plains :)

Hi Dorothy,

Maybe I mislead you, the pictures that I have for the two "baby" John J's are the marker pictures posted on their memorials in the same cemetery as John M. Then there is a Michael Knoll whose marker picture is also on his memorial page. Michael is in the same plot/section as the young Johns. Donald Knoll's marker (1956-1956) was in the same plot as John M. Knoll and Appollonia and a picture of his marker is on his memorial page. John, Appollonia and Donald are located in a different section of the cemetery than the baby Johns and Michael. Could Michael be John Sr's father?

I will take another picture of John and Appollonia's marker next time I get to the cemetery.

Best wishes, High Plains :)

John M. Knoll, Sr.
Hi Dorothy,

Sorry that you couldn't read the marker on the photo. His wife's name is Apollonia (1889-1964).

There are two other John Knoll's. Both named John J. and both died young. The other one that I thought was another John was actually Michael Knoll (1856-1917) who was in the same vicinity of the baby John J.'s. His marker was in, maybe, German(?).

Do you want me to try to retake the picture? Probably wouldn't be until spring.

Best wishes, High Plains :)

John Knoll in Dawson Cemetery
Hi Dorothy,

I found several John Knoll's but not the one who died in 1973. I have posted pictures of two of them and I have one more. If you can get a Block # for him I will gladly look again. The online cemetery records do not have a Block # for him and with 5500 plus graves, it's just a shot in the dark to look for his grave marker.

Best wishes,
High Plains.

Creston Cemetery Request
Dorothy - thanks so much for photographing the grave markers in Creston Cemetery! I appreciate your time and effort! We were headed back to visit family in Vancouver this fall and I was going to detour there to get these. You've saved me some extra time with my sisters! Thank you! Denise

RE: Woodbury's (Jerome & Lydia)
your welcome, I think I may have photos of a few of their children too, if they have memorials built in F.A.G, if you want to request..Prudie is one I remember, interesting name..the other might be Mary or Marie.

Take care,

Myrtle Ruckle photo request
Roy Ruckle (1907-183) is buried next to Myrtle. If you plan to create a memorial for him, please send me the memorial page number so I can post his headstone photo.
Regarding your note - it is better to put in separate photo requests. the sections at Forest Lawn are very large. Vale of Memory is quite a distance from Commemoration. Personally, when I go out to take photos of markers I target areas not names. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the John Cutlip photo. It helped reinforce birth and death dates.
