My, you have been busy and I am so glad. Thank you for all of the wonderful photographs. This is a cemetery and area of the US that I may never be fortunate enough to visit. Your great work is appreciated so very much. Mary Lavezzari

He is the brother-in-law of my sister's sister-in-law. I have his obituary and a photo of him, but not a photo of his grave.

Thank you so much for trying to find James Scoggins. He was my gr gr grandfather. I am not really sure he is there. I am hoping he is. Otherwise, he may be buried in a field somewhere. Not all are buried in a cemetery. :)

Thank You Kelli for the photo of Henry Watts Key. I did get your message a few days ago letting me know that he is buried in the old Hopewell cemetery but someone already has a memorial for him so I sent them a message to delete her memorial since I had the wrong cemetery but they still have it up and I just saw you had added a picture to the memorial also. So thank you for those.

|John Mallory Land||Photo request for Memorial #141886388|
Hi - I just thought I'd let you know that the poster of this memorial contacted me yesterday and asked if I could go take photos of the memorial, so I did this afternoon. I did not find out she had made photo request that had already been claimed by you when I went. I went ahead and posted my photos, since I had already taken them and also gone to the trouble to uncover two adult-sized brick ledgers that were previously not visible in the lot. I didn't mean to steal your thunder - I was just trying to help. - John

|Joe Willis Jones||Photos of Alberson gravesites|
Kelli: I can't thank you enough for the photographs of the Alberson (Alverson) grave sites that you recently uploaded. These photos are of the graves of my g-grandfather and g-grandmother, and several of their children (my great-uncles). I live many thousands of miles away from Harris County so this was not possible for me. Again, many thanks for donating your time and energy to fulfill this request!

Your memorial for Jefferson Cooke in Old Shiloh Cemetery in Harris County is a duplicate. That is the military marker next to the main headstone for John Jefferson Cooke who is already cataloged in this cemetery. Please delete the duplicate memorial. Thank you.

I'm fairly sure that's against the rules. Duplicates are prohibited and we're not supposed to link to them, in deference to the original. The proper procedure would be to delete the duplicate and relocate the photos to the original. If the memorial manager won't process edits for the family links (sent via the "edit" tab) in a timely manner, the the admins will evaluate them after 21 days. Since the deceased is your grandmother, you can always have the original transferred to you and then link/edit it as needed. Bennie Gross is normally very prompt in responding to requests. It may be the case that the recent problem of certain IPs blocking Find A Grave emails resulted in him missing your SACs. I'd recommend leaving a message directly on his contributor page.

If you read FAGs new rules, it says they perfer not to publish relatives names unless you have permission, but I think spouses were ok.
