RE: Thanks for the information
I was just rereading a note you sent about Sarah Elizabeth Morrison and Josephine Bedwell and wondered if you might be confused about Josephine. She was a sister of Drury Gilbert Casey. I don't have any idea about what Bedwell she married and to date have found no further mention of her daughter Drury Alice Bedwell. Josephine later married Elihue Johnson.

Sarah Morrison
Again, I thank you. I have had Andrew at the top of my list of probable suspects as Sarah's father but didn't have the proof that I needed to say for sure. The Probate documents ties that up nicely. I have linked her memorial to those of her parents. The next time I go to Paris I'm going to have to go by a couple of cemeteries to check on some people. One thing I'm going to have to check is a headstone in Evergreen Cemetery that makes me wonder if our Sarah is really buried at Harmon. Now I have to research a whole new group.

Thanks for the information
Thank you for the information on Sarah Elizabeth Morrisons parents. I have been looking for them for years. Do you have a Primary source on their connection that you could share with me. I grew up knowing her name but I don't recall my grandfather ever memtioning who her parents were.

Hi Rebecca, The Alabama Marriage Index Listed her name as Mary Jane "Morrison" and the Alabama Death Certificate for her listed Andrew Morrison as her father. That is why I had her as a child of Andrew. After more research, I believe that you are correct about her being a step-daughter. Mountain Springs Cemetery is a little confusing since there are 2 memorials each for Andrew Morrison, J H Morrison, Mahala Morrison and Sarah Elizabeth Morrison.

Winfield S. Farrar
Thank you Rebecca for the changes to Winfield S. Farrar. I'm not related. Do you know who Nancy A. Reaves Farrar (1841-1902)is? She was buried very close to him. Now I'm thinking she was a first wife and Euzeba was a second wife. But Nancy was a Reaves and so was his Mother. If you can clear this up, please let me know. Also, if you are a relative and would like to manage this memorial, I'll be glad to transfer it to you.

DeCoite
There is also a Mary (wife of Manuel DeCoite 1842-1919)and their daughter Greta DeCoite 1898. Do you see them anywhere? If so, could you take their photo and I will set up a memorial for them also. Thanks so much!

DeCoite
Rebecca, Thanks again for the photos of the DeCoite's headstones. If possible could you take one of Manuel B. DeCoite's full headstone. I like the close up but would like a full one too, if that is not asking to much.

Also, I would think that that his father would be buried there also but I can't find a memorial for him. I would creat one if I knew he was buried there. Could you see if he is there and take a photo of his headstone also? Manuel DeCoite 1842-1919.

Thank you so much for the great photos and so timely.

Dear Rebecca..

Thank you for your efforts with the Donald Long Memorial. You are right, a gal named "Tricia" posted the pictures but did not go through the chanels and follow through with the findagrave procedures for pictures and such
So thank you for your efforts - especially since I am here in Tennessee and cannot get to Hawaii :)

Nancy Alana
RE: Alana
Thank you for double checking. We now believe that the names listed on the headstone are their children who are also buried there. Rita Morris Alana has 21 children and at first we thought the names of all their children were on the headstone with some on the back. I appreciate any information on this gravesite so thank you again for all your help. We are a long way away in TX!

Well, that was fast! Thank you so much for the wonderful pictures. Were there any names on the back of the headstone? So many of their children's names were not listed on the front. You're the best! Aloha.
