|LjBJ||RE: Photo request for still born at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Seattle, WA|
So, I went to the cemetery at noon today already to identify graves and take pictures. The man in the office was extremely rude and abrasive. I tried to explain to him that I was a local historian just trying to do a favor for someone out of state. He would have none of it. He basically said that he's in charge and refuses to give out details to anyone but family and even then charges $20 just to look up the information. When I asked for his name he said 'Robert, AND DON'T FORGET MY NAME." I tried my best to break through his brash exterior, but was unsuccessful. I will try again, another day when someone else is staffing the front office.
The funny thing is, that the local historical society (The Queen Anne Historical Society (http://www.qahistory.org/mc-events/mt-pleasant-cemetery-tour/?mc_id=67) are doing a tour of the cemetery in a couple of weeks - so there must be SOME friendly people on staff at the cemetery. Just not him.
I'll see what I can do.

I just 'accepted' a photo request for a grave your requested. I was also able to locate the Washington State death record for the same. You can view that at the link below. I'll let you know when I've taken the photo.

Thank you for taking and uploading this photo. This is my mother's oldest sister, who she knew about but never meet. They were born exactly 15 years apart (same birth date). My mother is now the last living child in the family. She's widowed and lives with me and my husband (she has full blown dementia).
Again, thank you!

Carl Tweed's father's name was Tollef.
Added by Farmlark on Apr 30, 2016 12:16 PM
The info posted re Carl Tweed's family is incorrect. His parents we Tolled Tvedte (Tweed) and Dordi (Dorthea) Hystad Tvedte (Tweed). Also, the siblings listed are incorrect. Carl and Elise were members of the same township where I was born and raised.

Hi there, I just put in for edits to Benjarmin & Nina Anderson Maiden name Pratt. I was wondering if you could also add the picture you have of the Benjamin Franklin Headstone to Desmond David Anderson as this is his son. Thank you.

RE: Donald A. McGregor Sr.
You've accidentally posted his son, Donald A. McGregor Jr.'s headstone photo on his father's memorial by mistake. It should be removed so it doesn't get confusing.

The double cousin thing in the family is really cool! I never heard of it before. Thank you for putting all of the pictures of the Roness family! now I am in search for my 5 times great grandparents! Its a little difficult to find pictures of Anne Mortha Pedersdatter and Gunder olssen Hammerseide, which are Antons parents. I want to go on to go on to Anton and Anne's grandparents too! I am very interested in ancestry & you are too (we are for sure related). It is very nice to meet you Karen!

Hi Karen! I would like to thank you very much for posting pictures of the Roness Family!! It has helped me a great deal with finding my ancestors. I am related to them through my grandmother. Her name is Catherine Roness (West). My 3 times great grandfather is Anton G Roness. I think we are related I was just wondering how?

|Lynn🌹Elizabeth||Poss. Ghosts from the Past...|
Hi, Karen! I have a feeling we may be connected in a strange kind of way! Are you related to Joy? In the long ago past... any Parkhurst ghosts? If you can answer "Yes" to either of these questions, please contact me: email@example.com. If the answers are "no" I want to say "I'm sorry" in advance. Hopefully we'll meet someday, perhaps in a cemetery! 🕊 Lynn Parkhurst-Gillies🌹

Thanks for posting Frances memorials photo on
this site. We have been searching in Canada and the US for any information on this family member.
Finally, what a surprise. The cross was manufactured by her father in Canada and installed in Crosby. Thanks so much.

|Herb Schwede||RE: Kristiansand Cemetery|
The Kristiansand Cemetery was already on F A G in Williams County when I added the names. I realized later that it was in the wrong county and tried to get it corrected twice, then forgot about it. I will try to find time to correct it again. It will take some time.

Thank you so very much for posting information and grave photos of my grandparents in United Cemetery in Tioga. I have been looking for them for several years! The ones I am referring to are Frank S. Rowley and Carrie Belle Rowley. I have sent some edits and added some photos and links. If you want to transfer them to me, my contributor number is 47192032.
You say you are interested in Nygaard. My great aunt, Anna Marie Bloom married Iver Olaf Andreas Martinusson Moltubakk Nygaard and they lived in Benson Co. most of their lives. Their kids were Myrtle, Melvin and George. If you are further interested in them, let me know. My e-mail is firstname.lastname@example.org.
