RE: Ben F . Dempsey
Fred, yes I know the person William Dempsey I've heard my Grandmother talk of him. They called him Uncle Bill Dempsey. I'm not for sure where he is buried. Just know he didn't have any children he lived with my Great-Grandmother Margaret "Maggie" Dempsey Wilhoite for a time. My Great Aunt Mayme Wilhoite Smith is the last of my Great-Grandmother's children maybe she will remember and I can ask her. I have one photo of him that I can send you. It is him on a porch with a little girl and I think the little girl is a Snowdy Beckham. I also have pictures of the whole family of Ben F & Mary Glore Dempsey with all the children plus some of the wives. I think Lue is a small child in the photo it was given to me by Ella Dempsey. My family married twice into the family. My Grand-mother Toye Perkins married Margaret "Maggie" Dempsey Wilhoite's son Lon Wilhoite and my Grand-mother's sister Mable Perkins married my Grand-father Lon's Uncle James D "Jimmy D" "Dick" Dempsey. Thanks for contacting me. Feel free to contact me about more on the family. I just was at my Great-Aunt's Eula Wilhoite Cook's and her daughter-in-law was going through her old pictures and we found a photo of Matilda Evealine "Emma" Towles Wilhoite which would have been Maggie's husband's John L Wilhoite's grandmother so I'm hoping there are more photos of Dempsey's in there as well. There is a geneolgy book that someone has left of their research on the Dempsey's sort of going through Letita Glass Dempsey's side she was married to James H Dempsey they are buried in the Warnock Cemetery in Scott County. I also have photos of them. There is sort of road block on James H Dempsey. The book at the Scott County Library is William Glass and his descendants from Kentucky & Virginia.

I am not related to her so do not know her maiden name. I just photograph large sections of the cemetery at a time. Since her death certificate is not publicly available until after 50 years, you might try tracking down her obituary.

Best wishes,

Mike

RE: Elizabeth B Morris
I placed the death date that you sent through an SAC in her bio on the memorial page. See memorial # 61892845 Unless the date is listed directly on the stone or a copy of a death certificate or a copy of an obituary is added to the memorial, I prefer not to change the actual date without proof. Thanks so much for bringing this to my attention.

William James Neal
Do you have record of William James Neal, b. 1878, died May 13, 1940, being buried at Switzer? The death certificate just gives Frankfort, KY, but he is a husband of Lonnie Brumback Tincher and she and several of her other husbands are buried there. Thanks for your help.

Lonnie Mae Brumback
I have a question for you. I noticed that on the memorial for Edward Price Stewart that you had indicated he was the third husband of Lonnie Mae Brumback. Do you by chance know who her second husband was? His last name was Neal and she must have married immediately after the death of William B. Mitchell because she had a son, James Neal, born February 1931. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Thanks so much for the photo of the marker for Robert Riddle. Again, I am pleasantly surprised that there was a marker. You must live close to Switzer Cemetery. I am researching my Dad's mother's family and my Dad was born on Woodlake Road in Switzer in 1919. Thanks again for your work.
