|Tangent||Frances Sain & Wesley Chapel Cemetery|
I figured there'd be no stone for Frances, as your memorial for her twin brother indicates there isn't one. Sad.
I have (library) access to Charles Sherrill's book "Death Records of Grundy County Tennessee", which covers the years 1908 - 1925 and indicates burial locations.
If I come across more burials in this cemetery, I'll let you know. It sounds as though all the marked graves have already been photographed.
Best regards from a former Grundy County resident

RE: Find A Grave# 111194316
Wow! How did you find Jefferson Smith's death date? A lot of folks have his death year as 1870 or 1890. All I could confirm was that he was alive at the 1880 census. His son Alexander Smith died in 1890 and is buried at the Smith Cemetery. (A nephew later ordered a confederate headstone for Alexander around 1936.) Sure think that if Jefferson Smith was buried there, that a tombstone would have been purchased for him as well. My theory was that after his wife Cynthia, died in 1882, Jefferson gave the farm to Alexander to run and either lived with Alexander until his son's death or moved in with one of the children. Can't locate land records or a will and have not found him on a census since 1880.
Did you find an actual grave for him at the Smith cemetery?

Thank you! Thank you! For taking the time to get headstone photos of my ancestors. May I put them in my family tree on Ancestry with your name? Did you happen to take a shot of the cemetery? If so, it would be great to have that as well.
You honor the ancestors of many by your restoration work. Thank you

|William Brown||Mount Zion Photos|
I have been planning to come up there for photos of all my Brown kin buried there. I appreciate your hard work. I am volunteer for findagrave.com, taking picture requests in my area (Baton Rouge, LA). I am working with Bobby Brown up there on Identifying the Thomas Brown that was the father of Joseph William Brown. We know he was married to Sarah (Sallie) Greer. Anyway, Thanks so much,
