Wow! I did notice there is a memorial but no cemetery. He had a wife and 2 children I believe. I was trying to locate any living because they would have had the missing links from that family. You have helped me very much and I do so appreciate the info you have given me! Yes this family is very difficult to locate. When I get frustrated with a family because I can't find any connections I just go to another part and work on it for awhile, then eventually go back to it. I am sure that now that I have the death date and where he died that I will get the leaf telling me there is a death certificate. But thank you anyway.

Roger, I am not questioning the information placed on this memorial. I am wondering where this information came from because he is a member of my extended family and there are unanswered questions about his family that I am looking for. There is a lot of information and specifically his siblings. It stated he had 7 but there was a brother named Arthur that was not in that list and I know for a fact that this particular brother lived longer than he did. The 1900 census said they had 9 children, 9 living, while the 1910 stated they had 11 children, 7 or 9 living. Do we know how he died or what caused his death since he in this specific category on ancestry.com? Hope you are able to help me with this. Thanks

Thank you for finding them and creating their Memorials. I have been watching and looking for them for several years. I would have never found them without your assistance. My appreciation is beyond words. You are truly an asset to Find A Grave.
Once again, many, many thanks!

I was wondering if you might be able to help me out? I have been looking for "Mama Bean" who lived in McCurtain Okla which I believe is buried in the Milton Cemetery in Le Flore Co. Okla. I think she died abt 1998. I was married to her grandson a brief time before he was murdered in Lubbock, Tx in 1963. We used to come to McCurtain and visit her. Any help would be much appreciated
Best Regards and thank you,

|Lori Lumsden Smith||Mayme Hendrix|
Hello Roger. In the 1910 census for Burl and Laura family it shows a Mayme S. Hendrix in the same household. I believe that this is the right family because my grandfather is living and working as a hired hand for the family. Laura Elizabeth Means is his aunt. In you bio about Laura Elizabeth you do not mention this daughter as one of the children. I though you might want to check this out and add her as one of Burl and Laura's children. Thanks Lori.

Thank you Roger for the photo of William "Bill" Folsom's headstone. You are a true genealogist for taking the time to record for others not of your immediate family. Thanks also for the photo of Steve and I from 1972. You are great, Cousin Kim Folsom Diviney

Hi Roger, I have a photocopy of a photo of Anna Laura Tignor. I was wondering if you have or know who might have an original that isn't photocopied. The photo is of Anna as a young girl. It was done by the New York Portrait Co. St. Louis Missouri. If you or anyone reading this post has a copy of it I would love to have a better copy. I have a few copies of photos of her that I will post here but would really appreciate better copies. Thank you for whatever help you might be able to offer. Lori

Roger, I noticed you have a Photorequest for Fair view cemetery. There are 2 Fairviews listed in find a grave.The one you requested in says its at cameron but Its actually near Panama. Its a shame too because I walked that cemetery today and there were several Gollihar's buried there. I am sure I could have got the photo for you. I sugest you make a new request in the Fairview that is near Panama OK and I will try to make it back over there and find the grave you need a picture of.

The source for his middle name is the Forest Lawn website. The social security death index only lists his middle initial of "B".

Yesterday, the only Hendrix grave in the area was Janet Hendrix (age 19) - picture posted.
Doing some research this morning, I found that Sophie Estelle Hendrix (unmarked grave) is next to Thomas. Memorial now in: 109132349. Hopefully this is what you were looking for.

|Michele Ball||Murriel French|
I finally was able to read the stone and dates. Murriel French is Alfred's son.
There is a site for Murriel in the same cemetery and it has a headstone but one can't even begin to read it.
I don't own the site but I think your photos are really good and very helpful in being able to read the information.
I think they should be placed on Murriel French's site.
Provided you go to the same cemetery again would you please try to find Alfred's stone. You do such wonderful work.

I am grateful for your work in filling a headstone request for me.
However, I am alittle confused. The name I am reading is Murriel French. I can't seem to get a good reading on the dates but I think they are different too.
Then there is some reading under the dates I sure can't figure out. Can that be another person?
Is there anyway you can figure out the names and dates on the headstone?
Anyway, any efforts are appreciated and again I thank-you for your time, energy, and workmanship.
