Unverzagt
This name is most common in Rheinland-Pfalz. I could not find anyone with this name in Baden. The city Kallstadt is in Rheinland-Pfalz und that might be really the one where he came from.
It is close to Bad-Dürkheim.
See here
http://www.verwandt.de/karten/absolut/unverzagt.html. The areas marked in red show were this last name is most common.
Kallstadt is a small place. Here is the link to the webpage of the city hall. http://www.kallstadt.de/

You can contact them at
vvk@kallstadt.de

The occupation you mentioned looks like it could be Bürgermeister- which means that he was a mayor once.

Good luck

I requested the photo for his wife. So you can upload it to her memorial page. And yes I am German and live in Baden in the southwest psrt of Germany. Were were your ancestors from? Do you know the city?

RE: Elder minogue
I'm glad you can see the photos now. I noticed this morning there have been some changes to the website so that could be why it wasn't working.

The photos are there. It might be a problem with the site today. Give them a day or two.

Hi Thank you so much in finding the Botkin graves for me. Eileen may not have a stone for some time. I just checked and I did receive the photos you sent me. I do appreciate all your help.

RE: Zimmer Family
I don't plan on doing anymore searching in Germany. I got the death records for my g-g-grandparents from the Historical Society in Athens and they have the names of the parents in Germany. My mother had their marriage record and also naturalization papers written in German. I found that even the Germans can't read them! They are written in old style handwriting modern day Germans don't use. We could figure out enough to get the meaning, but I can't even imagine trying to go through old German records!

RE: Zimmer Family
I don't know of a connection, but I am alway hunting new cousins! My Zimmers lived in Glouster and other areas in and around Athens County. They were almost all coal miners.

My g-g-grandparents were Frederick Albert Zimmer #59364274 and Carolina Albright Zimmer #59364395. They arrived in this country in 1871. If you look at their memorials, you will see that my cousin and I have pretty well connected them to every Zimmer we could find. I am ALWAYS interested in new information, so if you see a connection, please let me know. Thanks for contacting me!

Cathie,

I know why you did not find her. I started to make a note on her page, and found the photo of her stone in the mausoleum at Wesley Chapel in Hilliard. I wonder how many of my other people that are missing are on the Greenlawn index and not buried there.

Thank you so much. It took me a long time on the computer and trips to the library and phone calls to find her grave. You took that picture in a couple days and I am very pleased.

I created and then transferred the memorial to you. If you do not want to manage the memorial, simply transfer it back to me.

Take care and welcome. Believe me this website find becomes an obsession.
