RE: Robert Cook photo request
Hi! Yes, my photo request is for Robert Corbett Cook. Am hoping his wife Mary Pike Cook is on the same stone and not separate - I couldn't submit a separate request for her as I've maxed out on requests for the week.

Lorraine Cassidy mem#101955662
I have been trying to edit the subject memorial and have been having trouble. It is your memorial and that may be the problem, but I think I have done this in the past.

She was married twice first to Stafford Dominic Hotts memorial # 136029110. I was successful in linking her to him. Her second husband was Vincent Cassidy your memorial # 48032217 link to her.

I was not able to link her to her parents. Father Joseph Courneya memorial # 33028603, and Mother Harriet Goulah Courneya memorial #33414648.

I also tried to correct her name to include her first husband, Stafford Dominic. It should read, Lorraine Courneya Hotts Cassidy.

Will you either make these changes or transfer the management of Lorraine's memorial to me. My member # 47477674.

Thank you,

RE: Aylett grave's in Section 8, Range 20. The Plot Number is 14, but that didn't help me. It's right beside the road. I live very close. If you want to arrange meeting up, I could do so.

RE: greetings
You are very welcome.

After I was at the cemetery, I looked at some of our previous email correspondence and realized that you had mentioned a tree marker (which the cemetery office didn't seem to know anything about). Next time I am there, I'll look for the marker.

If you read my profile you'll see that I've never been there & only volunteer to upload pictures.
Have a great day

RE: grave photo for Ellen Cary
I'm sorry for the delay in responding but I've been out of town and not near a computer.
I was actually able to get a picture of the cemetery stone last month after waiting for 3 years! I'll try to put it on ASAP now that I'm home.
Thank you for your message and your participation in findagrave. I've found it to be a wonderful resource and I'm both a user and a provider of photos.

Sometimes the messages are lost. Some Suggestions are being Censored, before delivery.

I have other relatives somewhere there, but know idea where.

I can not read the inscription on the photo you put up. I was hoping to findout the maiden name of his wife. Everthing I find has it spelled differently.

RE: Corporal John Barrowman Webster
Saint Johns Norway Cemetery
Sorry about not providing the grave info ... it is Plot 23 Grave 41. I do have a picture of his grave marker but unfortunately it was half buried under the ground when someone went to take it and he had to clear dirt away for the name to show. He reported it to CWGC and it was supposed to be fixed so I was hoping to get one without all the dirt on it. I would appreciate it very much if you are able to do it.

RE: Edith Jones memorial
I think you need to re-take the Shapter stone picture because part of the information for Edith Jones is missing in the memorial.

RE: Edith Jones memorial
FOR CERTAIN, I know that John Tucker Shapter's
first wife (whose name and dates are on the stone) died and John subsequently married Rosina HIPKINS (1835-July 17, 1914) on Nov. 15, 1871. Rosina was born in Devonshire, England, d/o Edward and Mary Ann HIPKINS (not Hopkins or Hepkins).
From the second marrriage he had additional children, one of them being Edith Rosina who married Griffin Jones.
Rosina Shapter died in TORONTO so expect she is buried in a Toronto Cemetery. Have you checked with Sue at the MP cemetery office to know if she is buried in the plot - but without stone information? Rosina's DC did not indicate cemetery name but I would be surprised if she is not in MP since the daughter is obviously there.

If you want to enhance the info for the two Jones daughters, go to my memorial for Rev. Edmund Sheppard Jones and you can borrow the information that I have there for son Griffin for use in his memorial that you created. The reason all of it is there is because I didn't want it lost. If you decide to use the information in your memorial for Griffin and Edith, I will remove the bulk of it in the Jones memorial to avoid duplication.
Let me know what you decide.

RE: Edith Jones memorial
I only requested that the information be entered
in the BIO part of the memorials, not linked.
Would it be a problem entering the names of the children in the bio for BOTH parents?

Added by George DeKay on Nov 06, 2013 4:57 PM

George DeKay
RE: Edith Jones memorial
should be worded as Plot H, Section Fancy, Lot 29
Do the same for both Edith and Griffin's memorials.

In my message I had asked to enter locations of birth and death for Edith as York County, Toronto.

Also asked to add Edith's parents and children's names to bio =
Daughter of John Tucker Shapter and Rosina Hipkins
(his second wife).
Edith Rosina (b. 1902) and Beatrice Caroline (b. 1904).

Would like children entered for father's memorial as well.
If there is a problem with this request would you please contact me.

RE: RE flowers
People can add photos and (not sure) flowers without the consent of the owner of the memorial but I don't believe they have access to the memorial for adding details.

RE: Edith Jones memorial
I am not sure why you didn't add the rest of the accurate information I sent for this memorial.
It would certainly make it more complete and interesting.
I just need to understand your reasons.

Hi, I took it down & now have put it back up. At the bottom of the Marker/Headstone is where Margaret Ann Anderson's name is. So, she is sharing the burial space with the Prudham family. I don't know what the relationship would have been. Thanks for letting me know though, as I'm only human :)

RE: memorial for Margaret Ann Anderson
Whoops. I've taken the picture down & will check the records as I probably either took a break or skipped a photo. Thank you very much for pointing this out!
