RE: Hixon/Hixson family
Hi Barbara,

This may have been information send to me by another member. But from what I found David Morris Hixson (spelled Hixon on the 1850 census) had a daughter Hannah A. who was 21 years old. From the Daviess County, Indiana marriage records I found that Hannah Ann (Hixson) and James Ford Hawkins had a son named David Morris Hawkins, most likely named after her father. While probably not solid proof it's the best that I can find. I don't have access to the newspaper records from home but an obituary might give her father's name.

Leona Henke
I will transfer Leona Henke's memorial to you and you do have my permission to use the photo, please give me credit for having taken it. Find A Grave has guidelines for memorials that must be transferred (it's called the 4 generation rule). This request is outside of those guidelines but I'm happy to do the transfer. Many others strictly stick to the guidelines, which is their right. (It never hurts to ask.)

Yes, you may use the photo I took of Erma Hall's grave. Please give me credit for taking the photo. Also, please be aware that many people on Find A Grave will object to the use of photos they take being placed on Ancestry, so always ask.

Barbara,

On the last attempted message I hit the return and it sent it before I wrote anything. I've transferred all the memorials you requested plus a couple more I think. If there's anyone missing let me know. If you got some you didn't want just transfer them back to me.

You should now put in the photo requests and I'll alert Jim that I've transferred the memorials to you.
