Anna Goldberg
On the left side of your photo, of the grave marker for Louis & Esther Goldberg, there is a marker for Anna Hecht Goldberg. Would you happen to have the full picture of her marker in plot AN20? If not, I will put in a request for someone to take and post it.
Thank you for the great pictures.

Thanks so much for taking a photo of the stone of my aunt's grandfather. I was able to share with my cousins their 2-ggf's name. With your help we are able to go back another generation in our genealogy research.

Hello;

I can't Thank You enough for photographing his stone. I read your note under the photo, but I'm wondering if you could make out any of the rest of the inscription, specifically his age.

Looks like it may say he died at age 87. What do you think?

Thanks so much!
Sincerely
Boundersal

The Photo of Virginia Olson's marker.
Thank you so much for the photo. Virginia is an aunt I didn't know I had. I found her while researching my mother who, along with both other sisters, have passed away. I now know where she is and that she is being cared for.

Thanks again,
Gene Easton

That would be nice. It must be the marker for my relatives. I'm curious about the missing headstones. Thank you for your persistence!

RE: Levin, Sarah (Blum)
I have moved Sarah Blum Levin to Norwich Hebrew Benevolent Association #1.

When you go to back to the cemetery this week, can you please check where siblings Simon Isaac Bloom, John Bloom, Rosa Bloom Siegel and their spouses (Anna/Sarah Bloom, Fannie Bloom, and David Siegel) are buried? I always thought they were in Brothers of Joseph Cemetery. They are in the right hand side of the graveyard, not far from the front (but not in the front row) and they belonged to Brothers of Joseph Congregation in their lifetime. Leib Blum (who was their uncle) is in the same area except close to the right hand fence. Blum and Bloom of Norwich were related to each other. Leib Blum and the father of the aforementioned Bloom's were siblings back in 19th century Lithuania. Did you take pictures of the Bloom gravestones too?

RE: Blum's - Brothers of Joseph
Hi Carl,

I have moved the 7 Blum's that you indicated to Norwich Hebrew Benevolent Association #1 as you requested. However, please be aware that Leib Blum (whose gravestone is entirely in Hebrew if I recall correctly) is on the total opposite end of the cemetery grounds from Abraham. Abraham is closer to the fence on the left hand side of the cemetery grounds (near the hospital) and Leib is almost right up against the fence on the right side of the cemetery grounds (by "cemetery grounds" I mean the physical area of the entire graveyard, not separate sections). Are you sure that Leib would be considered in the same Norwich Hebrew Benevolent Association as Abraham? Ditto David and Gitel, who are buried closer to Leib than they are to Abraham.

Does Brothers of Joseph Cemetery still exist and if so, where on the cemetery grounds is it located? According to findagrave there are four (4) distinct Norwich Hebrew Benevolent Association. Are there really that many? When I was in the cemetery over 10 years ago, there were no signs indicating Norwich Hebrew Benevolent Association #1, let alone 2, 3 and 4. They seem to have made some changes.

In any event, I made your changes so feel free to upload the pictures.

Ada

RE: Diamonds

Thanks for the offer Carl.
The Diamond's are part of my 1st cousin's husband's family and I really need to check on what I would like to find. Unfortunately he knows nothing about his family. I have them set up under "Bill and Carol" on my friends list. I add more when I get info.
Best regards, Bud

Good Morning and Happy Fourth to you too Carl.

I am the same way. I do not touch anything around a grave site unless it is one of my own.
Hope to see ya around again, Bud

That would be great. I will manage the memorial. I wanted to know if you might have a few more pics. Sender Soleveitzek (Harry's father). Next to Sender would be Morris and Solomon Soleveitzik (they were Harry's brothers) All three are in the same cemetery. Thanks again for all your help

The photo is fine. The water on the stone I thought was intentional. It brings out the name and date a little better

I tried emailing you personally (x2). The emails came back to me.

I am still inquiring about the obit for Leon Gutman. Please post it as a edit request to my Find A Grave account and I will copy and paste it to the memorial since I created it.

Sorry for the inconvenience. I do appreciate your time and efforts.

Best wishes,
