Hilda Mae Moore Odle
Who was the Odle that Hilda married? From her sons names I'm thinking she was married multiple times.

Debra Mason
RE: Mary Roney / Mary Tucker
I now don't think it is correct. Thought I had it figured out but now I find that her name might be Rebecca Mary or Mary Rebecca. I don't know. Just put it back the way it was till I can work on it some more. The mother is living in the household with the daughter, son in law and kids as Mary on the 1870 census then I saw on a death certificate that her name was Rebecca. Very confusing.

Thanks for this and everything else you do. I regret I made one error in my statement. Eugene Webb and his wife, Avis, are buried at Portland Memorial Gardens.

Mark Phillips
Family of Arthur Webb, Old Fountainhead
My mother in law is Arthur's daughter, Geneva. Arthur and Mattie Webb had 8 children, 4 of whom lived to adulthood. Their names are Eugene, Lantice, LaRue, Eunard, Alta Mae, Geneva, Ritter Jane, and Charles. Eugene, Lantice, LaRue and Geneva lived to adulthood. Eugene, Lantice, and Geneva are buried at Old Fountainhead. LaRue is buried with her husband, Ralph, at Burns Cemetery in Rutherford County near Eagleville. The children are all at Old Fountainhead. I am trying to let the record reflect this. Find a Grave is invaluable to people researching their family history. God bless you for what you do. Thanks.

Allen D. Jackson, USAF (Ret)
Telford Cem Million & Searcy
Thanks for the transfers and I've added a bio for each and a couple of grave marker photos. The one I added for Walter is a little better than the one there. I stopped by the cem today and cleaned the lichen off it, but with the sun I couldn't get a clean shot, so I used a different one that I had. I'll try again soon when the sky is overcast. I also linked up their parents to them. All I need is a photograph of each and we'll be set. Thanks again and we'll take great care of them for you and add more info as it becomes available. Sincerely, Allen

Nancy J Miller/John Andrew Slonaker
I had John A Slonaker's wife as Mary R Bachman. then I saw Nancy J Miller. Nancy & John A married 30 Oct 1884 in Washington Co. TN and I found her death in Nov 1900. Then he married Mary R Bachman on 25 Dec 1901 in Washington Co TN. So I added both wives and I think he was buried with Nancy because she was the mother of his children. Mary B & Slonaker did not have any children. Just to let you know.

Kathi Maynard Wiley
Georgia Woods
Greetings Butterfly Girl
I am confused ..... on page 172 entitled "Smith Chapel Cemetery continued - " From Volume 2 of the Macon county Cemetery Records. It states:
(Woods, Scott 8 Mar 1922 - 31 Oct 1967
(Woods, Georgia 13 Sep 1922 -

No death date is given, no place of death is recorded, no racial identifiers are given and no nicknames are recorded.

Besides walking the cemetery and taking picture of the headstones, I used the above mentioned reference book. Mrs. Woods is not listed as "Georgie" as being "non-white" or as dying in Ohio.

Based on those 2 objective proofs of this family's graves, I am uncomfortable making any undocumented changes and possibly misrepresenting vital information for family historians researching these individuals.

Sincerest Regards,
Kathi Wiley

RE: questions about this edit
No problem. Glad to provide proof when needed. Here are copies from the census records. If you want actual census records, I can download and email them to you.

1. 1900 Census, Upper Stinking Creek, Knox Co., Kentucky

Larkin Hubbard 66 (birthdate listed Apr 1834)
Rebbecca Hubbard 23 (birthdate listed Apr 1877)
Dewey Hubbard 1 (birthdate listed Nov 1898)
Charley Brock 10 (He is Rebecca's brother, her maiden name is Brock, which is not yet listed on her memorial, but I did send an edit.)

As a side note, Dewey's future wife, Ota (Oatie) Mills lives just down the road with her parents.

2. 1910 Census, Road Fork, Knox Co., Kentucky

Rebecca J Hubbard 34 (She is listed as widowed, as Larkin passed away 1909.)
Dewey Hubbard 11

3. 1920 Census, Hubbard, Knox Co., Kentucky

Dewey Hubbard 21
Becky Jackson 43
Mattie Jackson 7
Jack Brocky 19
Mary Brocky 12

Here Dewey is listed as head of household. Rebecca has remarried and is now a Jackson, but she is listed as divorced. She has a daughter who is a Jackson. The Brock's listed are listed as servants, but I am sure they are relatives of Rebecca.

Here is Rebecca's U.S. Social Security Death Index.

Rebecca J Jackson

Hey that is my grandmother brother my uncle gave me the pictures. I have sent a reguest for you to transfer it after I notice that you requested your great aunts and uncles from others. I would really appreciate the transfer. I know you appreciated it when others transfered your great aunts and uncles to you (eventhough it doesn't fall within the guidelines).

Memorial #15193580/John Lee

I was wondering if you have any additional information on this gentleman? I have a John C Lee in my family tree, born in 1898 but have no additional info on him other than siblings and parents. If this is him, he is my great, great uncle and would like to reference the Find A Grave Memorial number on my tree for others to reference.

Thank you so much!

RE: Elmer Johnson
Hey, I haven't figured out his relation yet. I'm working on it. I'm from 3 lines of Johnsons in Putnam, Overton, White, and Jackson counties from the early 1800's. It seems like everyone stayed there and just married everyone's family over and over so everyone there is a cousin somehow. So I pretty much research every line in those counties. Yes I've got a public tree. Glad to share it with you. Almost 12,000 names now. Shoot me a note.
