Cumah and Louis Nicholas
Hello my grandparents were Louis Edward Nicholas and Cumah Celesta Crandall. I saw you left them a flower on their memorials. Are you descendants of them? Would love to see if we are connected somehow! :) Thanks!

RE: Hostetler in Linn County OR
Perhaps this Gary is a relative through maybe 6-7 generations back to Indiana. I do know that my great grandmother would visit with cousins in the Brownsville-Halsey area, but I never knew any of these Hostetler people myself.

I originate from South Clackamas county around the Hubbard-aurora-Canby area.

Mr Jones
I'm pretty new to this, but was able to find and identify that my wifes parents are intered at the Gilliland Cemetery in Sweet Home, Oregon.

A subsequent call to Sweet Home Cemetery District confirmed that they were in Block 196 and 197.

I don't know where you are located, but it possibly may be Sweet Home, Oregon.

If that is correct, then I would request that the next time you visit the cemetary, please photograph the headstones and forward back to me, for inclusion in our Find a Grave Memorial.

The particulars are;

Jewel May Fifield (Anderson)
Find A Grave Memorial# 107043206

Alvin Charles Fifield
Find A Grave Memorial# 107051244

Gilliland Cemetary, Sweet Home, Oregon

We don't have anyone near Sweet Home, to ask.

Me and my wife are in Warner Robins, Georgia.

Warm Regards,

Eliza Fleenor Shelley
Hello Mr. Jones,

I don't know what to do then, I can't delete the memorial because I didnt' create it. A couple of summers ago, while attempting to connect the Fleenor family members together, I inherited 50 + memorials.

What would you ?

In honor of those who have gone before.
Suz Lew

RE: Sophia Weddle
Dear Mr. Jones,
I wish I had more information for you.
I came across Sophia Weddle's name and am
wondering if she is related to my Maria (Molly) Weddle. Maria married Edward Boyce/DeBoyce.
They had a daughter Ada Maybelle DeBoyce Malone who lived in the Sweethome, Oregon.

I can not connect Maria Weddle to anyone.
She states she was born in Calif. By the age
of 17 she was living in Hot Springs Calistoga Calif with her husband and 1 son.
So when I came across Sophia Weddle I thought she could be related to Maria.
It seems Maria appear from no where, had no parents, married and vanished some where after 1872 when my grandfather was born.
I did find a Travelita Boyce living with Edward Boyce in Fairfield Calif on the 1900 census.
If she is the last child born of Maria and Edward
Maria would have been alive in 1883. Travelita (I think, means little trip) and she was born in Oregon. Sorry, but Maria has been such a mystery to me. Thanks for all the good work you do helping others out. Sincerely, Diane McBain

Hi Mr. Jones
about Baby Girl Spring:

If you walk through the gate. Go straight down the middle road until you come to the circle where the flag pole is. Make a right at the small road (she is in Block 2) and go about 4 rows and she is on the very end of the row. She is not hard to find as there are usually things on her grave...and if you ever plan on going and being there awhile I am more than willing to come unlock the gate for you. If you want my number just let me know. It takes me about 8 minutes to get to the cemetery..
