RE: Martha Christian Caudle Turner
Oh my gosh I would be thrilled if you shared what you know about the Caudle's and Turners. You would be kin to my husband. He is descended from Joshua C. Turner, brother to Thomas H. Turner. I have always wondered why all the brothers left Tennessee. In one of his last census' their father, William Turner is listed as blind. I am shocked that all his able bodied sons left Tennessee. Any light you could shed would be wonderful! Carol

RE: Martha Christian Caudle Turner
Thank you for the information. I have not seen Martha's headstone in person. I have seen two different sources to document her date of death as of 1886. Are you related? I will research Thomas Turner my date was taken from the will filed in 1869 in Maury County, Tennessee. I am a bit surprised that Thomas is not listed as deceased in William Turner's will of 1865. -Carol

Beulah Gresham
Rosemary, I found an obituary today for Beulah and have added it to her page. Your mom's name is among the relatives - thought you would like to see it. Hope things are good with you.

Your mom
I noticed that no one responded to make a photo of your mom's marker. If you will remove the request, then ask for it again, it will notify those who are able to do it. People do not always look for requests when they are old, even though they are there. I started to ask for a photo and it told me there was already a request - I am assuming that it is your request. Would like to see her marker picture.

RE: Bertha Alice Ashmore
Do you have the origin date and place Kenneth Campbell and Bertha Ashmore married? Second, do you have information on Donald Robert Campbell their son who I think died in Brooklyn, NY. Thanks. Jim

Rosemary, I would indeed like to receive a copy of the Isaac Barton obit very much. My email address is: Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you. (I had a hard time finding any obit for the Rev. Barton--even a short death notice.) Bob

I am not related, please follow the steps below:

1. Go to the memorial you want transferred.

2. Go to the Edit tab.

3. Go to suggest a correction tab.

4. State that you want ownership of the memorial.

Note: Find A Grave will automatically send me an e-mail with all the Id#'s.

Hope this is helpful

Hi, I will give you my email. A lot of the info is available on the net under the Groves Family. Two of the Armstrong daughters married Groves brothers. My email is Glad to correspond. We really need someone in the Illinois area to find more about Richard and Mary Armstrong since they lived there in Clarke(?) county before they died.

richard armstrong
You and me and a host of others! According to others, Richard's father is John Armstrong who served in the Morgan District of NC during the revolution. Cadet Griffith researched this and supposedly Richard found he would have inherited an estate in Ireland but his father switched sides during the revolution so he could not inherit. I wonder if this was the John Armstrong who got a land warrant near Dayton Ohio? John moved to Greene County Tennessee and died there in 1798

RE: Catherine Armstrong Ashmore

The find a grave listing for her said Sarah Catherine but the gravestone says Catherine. I think that is why I left the note...but I will look further to see if there are other documents.

RE: Frank Gresham
There are three that I know of in this lot. The two that I added memorials for are John Henry Gresham and George Henry Gresham. John is the only one with a headstone. I am not sure if he would be Frank's brother. George was 3 years old when he died in 1909, not sure who his parents would be. I will check at the office to make sure they are the only ones showing up as being there. I had thought the family next to them was in the same lot but they are not.

RE: Mrs P.P. Watson 38950423

I don't know if I can be of much help. We live in the Dyer county area and the first cemetery we went and logged onto Find A Grave was Palestine. Here is the link to the website (Dyer county - cemeteries - Palestine) that we went by. We also spent several days out there photographing the headstones. So where it says "No Marker" there really isn't one.

It doesn't state birth date for Mrs. Watson, just states she is 82 years of age. If this is her memorial, I would appreciate knowing so I can change her from Mrs. P. P. Watson to her full name and then in the bio I would place who she married. If you have a marriage date and county married, I would add that also.

Hope this helps you somewhat. Judi

Thanks for the info!
I got your other message about being unable to get the actual stone photographed. Thanks for letting me know. You may want to let the memorial creator know by clicking on the "Suggest a correction" (SAC) in the "edit" tab---just for her info. Maybe she could post it on his memorial? Thanks again. ;D
