RE: ? about Dominick Salsiccia grave
Debbie,

I went back to the cemetery today and did see that there was a name plaque on the side of the tomb. There is a grave adjacent to the tomb, and the bottom few names are difficult to see. I did post photos of the plaque and each individual name.

Unfortunately the names were very hard to see so the photos are not as good as I would like, but these older headstones are prone to being difficult to read. The lettering blends in with the stone.

I hope this helps.

Joe

Hello Debbie,

You asked a good question. There are only 5 names that appear on the name plaque. There are a total of 18 people entombed in that mausoleum.

The earliest burial listed on the name plaque is dated 1995. I will assume that the plaque was placed over an existing plaque, or is a replacement. This is not an uncommon practice in New Orleans because so many people can be placed in a single tomb.

When I take a photo I include everybody listed as buried in the tomb. When I do not see a name, I include only the photo of the tomb. However, in re-examing the photo I took, there may be a name plaque on the left side, so I will go back and check to see if I missed. If I did miss it I will let you know, but it will be Tuesday at the earliest.

Below is a list of everyone listed a buried at 11 Myrtle Rose Metairie:

Please note that the dates are burial dates, not date of death.

Francis Nelson Pedlar
Hi Debbie

I don't have any info on Francis Nelson Pedlar; it must have been one of the many people who suggested an edit on a memorial I created, and then I just went ahead and processed their request. I can unlink the current spouse and relink to Annie Elizabeth Hogarth if you give me Annie's memorial #, or i'd even be willing to transfer Francis' memorial. Just let me know :)

Thanks

Aaron
