RE: Wesley Pearson
You wrote -- Just a quick note to thank you for your trouble in trying to locate a gravestone for Wesley Pearson. As he only died in July last year I'm guessing there will be no grave marker in place as yet.
My interest is more with his wife who is descended from a family which emigrated from the Welsh borders initially to Canada in the mid 1800's.
---------------------------------------------
As my photo show's there is no headstone for Wesley. On the right side, next to Wesley is Evelyn G. Pacetti. No one appears to be to the immediate left.

Hope this might help --

Dennis

RE: Masters Grave
Hi Bob,

You're most welcome. I got my day's dose of Vitamin D as I walked the rows of Springwood Cemetery in the beautiful Blue Mountains today.

I wonder what brought William & Mary Masters to the fine shores of Australia?

Cheers, Margot

Hey, Bob,
you are in Wales. Visiting there next month. Is Cardiff the place to go to search pre 1841 records? Most seem to be 'registered' in Pontypridd. Need all the info as to where I can go with limited time.

Thanks.
p.s. Just realized you have an email addy so maybe use that next.
Cheers.

Hello from Canada. Going to the Carleton Cemetary next month to grave of my grandparents.

Are you still looking for a grave photo of the above? If so, I will see if I can get one for you.

Regards.

Eva May White
Hi,
You put in a request for pictures of Eva May White's grave in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery here in Portland, Oregon.
Her son Charles is buried with her.
Could you do me a favor and put in a request for pictures of his grave also?
Thanks,
Nathan

Bob

When I was mowing the churchyard this week I spotted that there were more inscriptions on the other 3 sides of the cross that I had not spotted before ... two more brothers of Thomas Harold and also another sister ... I have uploaded photos of these too now ... looks like the whole family were buried there

Regards

Brian

RE: Thomas Harold Davies
Hi Bob

I live in Knockin so it was fairly easy to find the grave in our local church where I am one of the church wardens. Bit of a bonus for you because as well as Thomas Harold Davies also buried there were his parents, his wife and also a brother and a sister. They lived at Rolly Farm just outside Knockin for a while but I guess you probably know this already. If I can be of any further help with local records please let me know.

Regards

Brian

John Meredith
Yes! I had success. The side of the marker with the John Meredith inscription faces west and it was just the right time of the day. I drive by that cemetery often, but we have had a string of rainy, gloomy days, so the conditions were poor. Yesterday was perfect. So how does Ann Evans fit into the John Meredith story?

RE: John Meredith (d.1899) Photo Request
You're welcome. It really isn't any trouble. The cemetery is small and I found the Meredith marker very quickly. I was driving by anyway, so really no trouble at all. I will send the photos that I have to your email.

John Meredith (d.1899) Photo Request
I stopped at the Lake Crystal Jerusalem Cemetery today and found the marker for John Meredith. Unfortunately, the morning sun was from the wrong direction and it is very difficult to read the inscription. I will return early next week (hopefully) and try again when there is better light. I took photos of the other 3 sides of the same marker, but see that those have already been uploaded to Find A Grave. Let me know if you are interested in those photos as well.

Re: Kate Roberts Rowlands, FAG#19871160
Bob,
I found her obit which clears up her name. I had added her stone and memorial in 2012. My memorial becomes a duplicate, which I will remove once this memorial has been updated.
Hope this is the Rowlands you were searching for.

Awesome! I'm happy you found another link.

You're welcome for the picture. Any more from that cemetery? Winter will be setting in one of these days which will curtail the photo taking for the season.

Best wishes,
judy :)

While I was taking pictures of Ray Milway, at Oakwood Cemetery in Warren, Ohio, I also found Alice D. ( 1912-2001, his wife on his stone) and Edward C. Milway (1901-1949) monument in family plot. Would you like the photos?

RE: Howell Grave
Thank you for your generous offer. My great great grandfather was Robert Evans, a very common name. I have him on Find A Grave as memorial #13751499. As I look back upon it, it would have had to have been Ada May Loomis who spoke Welsh that she learned from Henry. I remember being at my grandmother's house with my great grandmother in her casket in the living room. I just know that she spoke gibberish to a 10 year old. My grandmother, Mary told me it was Welsh. While I may be considered "advanced in years" I was born in 1948. The years 1958 and 1959 were very trying for me. Ada died in 1958, a young friend died in early 1959, my father in May 1959, my great uncle in late 1959. It seemed in my young mind that everyone was dying and I was always going to funerals.
While I have no great expectations, it is a very common name, I look forward to what you may uncover. If you have any questions, I will try to answer them. Whether you find anything or not, it was nice meeting someone from the land of my ancestors. Diane

You are welcome. My mother's maternal family was from Wales. I remember my great grandmother periodically speaking in a language I could not understand.
