No I am not a cousin. I was just in the area taking pictures. I have removed my memorial as I did not realize it was a duplicate. Thanks for telling me. Sue

That is not the right Charles Sheldon, I do have all that information on that family too. I have been researching my family since 1983...John and Miranda Sheldon are a huge road block, my cousin is even searching and so far no luck.
My Charles married - Demoris Stannard, Georgianna Wade, Sarah Balch Farnsworth, and Mary Chandler Dutton.
my line goes...
John Sheldon - Miranda Cadwell/Caldwell
1. Charles Francis Sheldon b. 1831 Manchester, VT d.Dec. 6, 1887 Springfield, VT
2. John Jay Sheldon (mother G. Wade) b. 1874 Dorset, VT d. 1909 Springfield, VT (have not found his grave yet either. Married - Abbie Anna Slate
3. Emma Geneva Sheldon b. 1905 in Springfield, VT (this is my grandmother) M. Raymond Case 1929, d. 1965 in Manchester, NH

I am looking for my Sheldon family, John Sheldon and Miranda Cadwell, their children Charles Francis Sheldon, George W. Sheldon, Myron Sheldon, Harvey Sheldon, Hiram Sheldon. Any Sheldon info would be much appreciated. I do have some on the Brookside Cemetery. But they are not direct this family of Sheldon's that I am looking for. I went to Chester, VT to do research a few years ago. All I have on John and Miranda are things about their children. They are no where to be found - started in Dorset/Manchester area, ended up in Springfield (well Charles did...he is my direct gggrandfather) He fought in the Civil War, I have quite a bit on him, but have not found his gravesite, says Springfield, but no luck finding it yet. I have no idea where his parents are buried, they were not listed in the 1850 census, and George and Hiram were living with other families at that time, and Charles was married, didn't find the other 2 yet. Plus I think there could more kids. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Debby

I transferred the memorial to you, so that you can add your information. I am not related to her, I just came across this small cemetery when I was trying to find my gggrandfather.

Happy Hunting! Debby

Ok, I see that you have several of the family on Find A Grave. Are you also related, or just recording "old" cemeteries? If these are your great-grands, then they should indeed stay with you... If that is the case, I can send you the data I have, and you can add it if you wish. Jo W.

I'm just paying forward for the wonderful volunteers who entered my missing uncle's grave (missing since 1945) and took a picture. As far as I know only 5 of my family members are buried in High Street. Please use the Suggest a Correction to make sure I transfer the right people.

Hi there,
Thanks for taking care of things! Since you are fairly new here, you might want to give this a look over

http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=listFaqs

and you might find this helpful too

http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/mapCems.cgi?countryer=4&stater=49&countyId=2949

It has cemetery maps for every county in the USA. It's not completely accurate (for example, Windsor Co., Vt. needs a lot of work) but it can give you an idea at a glance what cemeteries there are and where, and what is already listed on Find a Grave. Just use the pull down menu in the upper left corner to pick a state, then a county.
Welcome to Find a Grave :)
~Jen~

RE: Abigail Adams Mills
Hello,
I'm sorry not to have checked the Find A Grave Memorials that I set up. I only checked my family genealogy file. This little Hale cemetery is just a few miles from the farm I grew up on. When I get back to the Jones Co. area I like to photo the little old cemeteries. Tonite I tried looking for an obit on the Jones Co. Web site. Just recently they posted old newpapers that have been digitized. I won't be back in the Jones Co. area until May or June. Maybe I can try to find who has the actual records of the Hale cemetery and see if any more information is available. I unlinked the William Mills. Again, sorry that I didn't catch the dates that were too close to be a father & son.
If you have a memorial number for her husband I can link them or transfer her memorial to you to link.
Regards,
Sharon Brodersen Lindbloom

Hello,
I'm not sure who Abigail Adams Mills is. I do not show her in my genealogy. Not sure if I have something else out on the internet that brought you to me, but I'm lost to help you out. Can you provide me with more information and I'll try to look at my files.
