Thanks for this photo. I'm back home and working on my Parrish family. I visited Brag while I was back. Some new changes but mostly all the same.

Thank you so much for looking for James Davis. I went to show the friend I am helping with her tree and saw the four new Davis Memorials for this cemetery. I knew you had gone looking for him! He is my friend's great-great-grandfather. I appreciate your efforts very much!

Boy I hear you about rain. It has been right around 100 here for the past week and very dry. We are suppose to get some rain later this week. I sure hope so. Good Hunting Bruce.

Hi from Utah
Dear Bruce: Haven't heard from you for awhile so just wanted to drop in and say hi. It looks like you have been very busy adding headstones onto the site. Take care dear friend.

RE: Cephus Culler
Thank you for your hard work on this! I dug down a foot and a half, more then once to find stones that have not seen day light in 80 plus years. The good thing is they were not weathered so you could read them. Thanks again, Richard

Got this one too. I'll have to do some research on this one. I can't make out the dates. Probably kin, as the rest are, but I have no information on this person.

Thanks!
Terrill.

SGM Horne, once again, I thank you for taking the time to photograph this grave marker, just as you have done on several others I have requested.

You are a credit to Find A Grave and I appreciate that very much.

Thanks again!

RE: Parrish
She may be and probably is but I don't know for sure. Some Parrish folk came up from South Carolina and I haven't made a connection with them. The connection is back in England and I haven't developed any lines off shore. I have my hands full in the U.S.
Thanks for alerting me to this person. I'll make some inquiries and maybe make a connection that way. I belong to a "network" of Parrish/Parish family members all working on their own lines.

Thanks again.

Thanks for the work you do for everyone. I also volunteer like you, but even if there were no requests for grave photos I'd still be out there looking for them. :-)

I recall the first time I walked in the Lamm's Grove Primitive Baptist cemetery . . .it gave me the felling I was in Surry County. The names there have roots back in Surry and Stokes counties and I learned later that many residents of Surry moved to the "sand hills" in the early 1900s to raise tobacco.
