Evlyn L. Babbitt
I am a newcomer to Find A Grave; while trying to learn to use the site I found Evlyn L. Babbitt, my husband's grandmother. Her date of death was May 31, 1975. I don't know if I can change that or if it is something you have to do.
My mother-in-law was Louise Dorothy Babbitt Rice, daughter of Evlyn and Glenn Babbitt.

I am using another person's log in email here but I am able to be contacted at (509)758-2428. If you would like to send anything by email please send it to Linda Rauch at

Thank you for your time and efforts. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Find A Grave activity
Are you guys back up and running on Find A Grave again? I am not sure, since there is no date stating when you went into an inactive status.
If you would be so kind as to transfer Braz and Mae Goodall over to my care, I would really appreciate it. I would be honored to take care of them. Thank you for your time and contributions to Find A Grave.

Plainville, KS Cemetery - Clements
I went to the Plainville Cemetery for personal reasons and thought that I would see if I could fulfill any of the photo requests that were posted. In the register, at the cemetery, they did not have listed either Sylvester or Serena Clements. This register has all internments for both Plainville and Sacred Heart (on same grounds but separated)cemeteries.

Just added a grave marker for Grace, my maternal grandmother.
Do you have access to the photos I have of Burch and Frazey ancestors, headstones and family?

In October 1898 Henry relocated his family to Nebraska, Mary refused to move with Henry and she stayed behind in Ohio with their daughter Ethel Mae, seven months later (in May) she gave birth to their second child, Walter Emory Rapp.

RE: Thank you
Hi, i will continue to look for her every time I am there.

Day trip--great idea. A few suggestions: bring some tools-some gardening type. A rake or maybe a hoe. Some gardening gloves. A lot of patience. Food and water. Bathroom is at the office(next door to it).

Any questions, let me know. Sue

RE: Willis Nesmith
You have a photo request pending for Willis Nesmith at the Ellensburg, WA, IOOF Cemetery. According to a quick search of the cemetery records there is no grave for Willis at this cemetery. I looked in the archives of our Ellensburg Daily Record newspaper and found the obituary for Willis. It indicated that his body was cremated so that may account for the fact he has no grave record.

If you will contact me with an email address I will send you the obituary for Willis. My email address is

Greenwood Cemetery, Spokane, Washington
"Just curious if you might no why no one photographs Greenwood Memorial Terrace? There are 135 requests with that many it makes me wonder if its way out of the way the office staff are not helpful or if its something else? My husband and I intend to travel there possibly next summer if there's an issue with it then would be helpful to know ahead of time."

Hi, Bri,

I was just there today and did some photo requests. I've never had any problems with the cemetery staff; they are above and beyond helpful! I believe that two things happened: one, with the winter, there are less photo request fulfillments (and those should be picking back up again, now that the weather is better and the snow is gone); and two, I think there are less FindAGrave photo volunteers in the area than there used to be. In fact, one of them is employeed at the cemetery and I talked to him today. He said he stopped volunteering because he would fulfill requests and people would get upset with him for "inaccurate information" (he WORKS there and has the records available to him). In other words, he got tired of the ingrates and complainers. Can't blame him too much!

I'm starting to fulfill requests, but it will take some time. Keep in mind when you visit that the office hours go to 4 PM, Monday - Friday, to 2 PM on Saturday, and are closed on Sunday.

George Babbitt--Cedar Hill
Hello, I have been working to find George and I am sorry to say that while I found the sec and lot, George does not have an individual grave marker. He is buried with L. Clinton Babbitt and Charlotte Babbitt in Sec 2 Lot 214.

Good luck with your search--@ngel #47774099

Thank you very much for fulfilling the photo request for Ray Patterson. I greatly appreciate you doing that for me.
My computer crashed and has been useless for over a month, so I am just getting going again on findagrave. I will try and find out the location of Ashtin Dorsett's grave and when I do I will let you know, in case you are able to do that photo request at a later time. I am not certain her maker is in place yet.

Thank you for the (unexpected) transfer of William Shaver's grave! He was my great great grandfather's brother, and I appreciate you having made his listing so I could find it. Thanks again.

Since you are the caretakers of this memorial, you could have deleted the photo. It was a terrible photo, my apologies.
