Thank you so much for photographing Theresa's gravestone. She was my father's half-sister and he often drove to visit her in Eastern Oregon. Thanks again.

Have to love it when they use the same first names. I found something on this Henry and will email it to you. If it's useful, great. If not, no harm done.

Do you know of any relation to him? He would've been born about 1905 and lived in Pulaski County, Virginia in 1923.

I will email you the names. I had found an interesting Wythe County book. It is from county records (1790-1878) that were found in the basement of the courthouse. Most all of the records involve orphans, illegitimate children, and "poor" children. Very interesting as it has records of these children being appointed guardians, single women naming their childs father in court, etc.; information that has been able to make sense of some people's Wythe County brick walls. No Foglesongs, though.

Did any of your Courtney's live in Wythe County? I had found some info, but didn't know if it was just coincidental that there were Courtney's living in the same county as the Foglesong's.

Have you looked at the death records and marriage records here? It may have been listed on one of these records here.

Starting to cool off a little. I just wanted to let you know I haven't forgotten about this and will go as soon as it is passable (at least mostly snake and summer growth free).

|Tracy C.||RE: Foglesong Famjily Cemetery|
You are absolutely correct that I welcome the challenge of that. I actually have had that cemetery added to "my cemeteries."
I will definitely get to work on it. I have had quite a bit of luck in the past, so hopefully I can locate this. Only issue is, depending on the growth, I may not be able to get in there until the weather turns cold. Gives me a clearer picture, once the weeds start dying, especially if the stones have been buried.
If there's something still there to find, I will do whatever I can to locate it. This is the part I really enjoy, especially when it's important to the family!
I also intend to look at Kimberling again. There are so many stones that are next to impossible to read. Gives the eyes a good strain, so I usually try another time.
I will keep you posted on what I find out and I am so glad you asked! In the meantime, let me know if there's anything else.

I apologize for the photo for Elias. The stone is extremely worn and regardless of the angle, it isn't legible in the photo. I did not find a stone for Michael.

You're very welcome. It appears maybe the headstone has faded perhaps due to minerals from watering (this is the desert so it can be harsh) and is in a spot where it is might be more affected by it, especially compared to other headstones in the same vicinity. I feel bad it can't be seen better, but am glad you appreciate it never the less.

|Blaine & Elaine Berger||RE: Miriam Butte Jones (1829-1895)|
I don't know what happened. I posted a photo on another memorial and Miriam's name came up. I deleted my photo because it belonged on another memorial. I am so sorry to cause you extra work. Please make your request again. I'm sure it will be fulfilled soon as there are several contributors photographing this cemetery. Again, I apologize.

|John Nielson||RE: Leland Mooers|
That IOOF #2 through me off for some reason and after looking at it again I discovered which one I believe it to be. I believe he is in the West Lawn Memorial Park in Eugene, Oregon. It even has the also known as "IOOF #2" on the main webpage for the cemetery. Probably back in the day that is what the cemetery was known as IOOF #2, but since then it was probably sold off and renamed since my relative passed away as it has been sometime since he departed.

I just wanted to thank you for your troubles and searching for Leland's headstone for me. I hope you didn't have to put yourself out too much. I never did get the name of the cemetery only that it was a IOOF #2 cemetery. I think I have the correct cemetery now, so I will call their office this week to confirm to confirm with them that he is buried there.. Thank you, again
