RE: Password
Mike,

I actually set you up to access the Pfister Family web site back in April 2013. At that time you would have received an email providing you with a user name and password. The host of that web site is "myfamily.com I received notice from the host that they are ceasing to provide support by this coming September.

Mike,

I set you up to access my Pfisters of Cambria County web site. You will be receiving a user name and password that will allow you to access the information I have posted. In the filing cabinet you will find a file that covers the early history of the family. I think you will find this information very informative.

RE: Afra Pfiester
Mike,

Afra's husband, Joseph Pfister was the brother of Blasius Pfister. Blasius was my great great grandfather. Blasius Pfister brought his family to Cambria county in 1853. Joseph and Afra went to Cambria county in 1854.

Afra's maiden name was Stehle.

The parents of Joseph and Blasius Pfister were Pelagius Pfister and Eleonora Schafer. They were married in Bittelbronn Germany 30 April 1792. Pelagius and Eleonora Pfister would be our ancestor.

I have done extensive reasearch on the Pfister family. I have researched our ancestors back to the 1660's in Bittelbronn, Germany. I have made numerous trips to Germany to pursue my research.

The descendants of Joseph and Afra Pfister have, until this week, been a mystery to me. I knew they left Cambria county, but couldn't pick up the trail on where they went.

Jerome had a brother, Pelagius who was married to Catherine Hartman. Pelagius and Catherine are buried Loretto, PA.

If you go to the memorials that you have info for you'll need to click on the edit tab in the right hand corner. It will send the owner of the memorial an email with a link to the memorial and the info that you want edited :) Hope that makes sense..
