ID Military in Westlawn-Hillcrest
We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one buried there or know of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day. This project is sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge #326.

If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.

Thank you for the help with this ongoing project.

Glenda O. Brady
Mary,

I am sorry, but Glenda does not have a headstone that I can photograph. She is buried in this cemetery and the office record does not show a headstone purchased either. I took a photo and labeled where she would be buried for you. Cemetery records also have her name spelled with an "E".

Mary, I just did another search at Mt. Tabor Cemetery which is now Forest Memorial Gardens but they have no record where George Arthur Chamley is buried at their site although all records keep leading me there. If I return to find another gravesite there I will find a different person to do the look up on George Chamley.

RE: George Chamley
Mary, I have searched all the cemetery's in my area and find no grave site for George Chamley. The following is what info I have found...
George A. Chamley
Born 3/28/1917
Died 12/13/1996
Social Security # 504-09-0270
This is the site I found this info....
http://www.digitalarchives.wa.gov/Record/View/A5DF5D94912696A9EC0961D4870121E6
You can copy and paste this address and it will take you to what info I came up with. I am sorry I could not find his grave site Mary. There is one Cemetery that lost all of it's burial record when the office was destroyed by fire. It was Forest Memorial Gardens in Olympia WA. It was also called Tabor Cemetery. So there seems to be no records remaining from the era.

BTW, I tried to find Harold's wife at the plot. There is no marker for her there.

Thank you Mary! I did add memorials for all the other Congdon family members at that plot(my there were a lot of them). And there was a Cahoon, Johnson and White names as well.

If any of these are memorials you would like transferred just let me know.
I think of myself as merely the photographer. I do this is hopes of reuniting those from the past with those in the present.

Mary you are more than welcome. I stopped in that cemetery on my way to NJ to take photos of my great grandmother and thought I would try to fill a few requests while I was there.

Mary, I was disappointed in the lack of info from this Cemeteries office. I will attempt to see if he is buried in any of the cemetery's in and around Olympia, Washington.
