RE: Lyman Cunningham
Thank you for the additional info on Elvira Cunningham-Powers. I suspected as soon as I saw the Powers surname there was a 99.9% possibility this connected to the abandoned Powers cemetery in Lancaster, Erie Co., New York. Sure enough, it does. It's a fascinating forgotten family burial ground, abandoned, and "lost" in the woods. I've uploaded pics of it under cemetery #2261711. Thanks again for the pieces of the puzzle.

RE: Lyman Cunningham
That definitely helped figure out the first name for Julia (not Jenny). I've corrected it and sent an edit for you to link to. You can tell by the photo I uploaded, it is very difficult to read as are the stones for the other two wives. They're all buried together. I'm working with a diary (you can read more about it in my profile) that does list all three wives by; "Mrs. Lyman Cunningham 1st wife, 2nd wife" etc,. It would appear from census records that there are four direct siblings for your Lydia, but I have been unable to locate any of them on Find-A-Grave. I did find Henry who would be a half-brother to Lydia. He was born abt. 1845 so I can't tell for certain which one of the other two woman (Clarissa or Nancy) is his mother. Another child was born to the last wife Sopron(i)a. Thank you again for the clarification on Julia's first name. I'm glad to have been able to connect them and figure out where Lyman went. Kathi

The last line of the message below should read "Jenny" as the Mother. Sorry for the confusion in names.

Lyman Cunningham & family
Would like to connect with you in regard to his children and his wives. He was married 4 times according to the records I am working. I just listed his first three wives in Lancaster Rural Cemetery - Erie Co., New York. This should make "Nancy" the Mother of Lydia Cunningham Croop.

No relation to any of these people. I was just going through one of my older Williams County history/genealogy books and adding photos to Find A Grave. I hope you don't mind. If so, I'll gladly remove them.

GOEBEL FAMILY
George,

Once again I want to thank you for the precious time you took to get more info on this family. You were right, his name was Rupert Charles Goebel. Not Robert Charles Goebel. I have made all corrections and up dates.

Thanks again for everything

Transfer made.

You should ask Grace Younglove Hudson for the transfer of Hazel, explaining that you are related. Most people are willing to transfer to relatives.

As for me, I would much rather see a memorial in the keeping of a relative.

Unfortunately, I cannot link "down." In find a grave, to link parent and child together, the holder of the child's memorial needs to put the links to the parents in that memorial. You need to ask Nancy Mattox to make that link.

Sorry I could not be of more help.
