John Thomas Cahoe
Thank you for posting the obituary for John Thomas Cahoe. He was the older brother of my great grandfather, Pat Cahoe. I don't know if you noticed, but the obituary states that the resting place is Kelso Cemetery, but you clearly found the grave in Union Cemetery. I thought, perhaps, that the cemetery had changed names, but that is not the case -- Kelso is a different cemetery and there is no entry for him there on Find A Grave. What do you make of that? Do you think that it is merely an error or was he possibly moved at some point?

Thank you so very much for taking the picture of Thomas Goins and wife, Nancy Frances Clemon's marker and adding it to their memorial pages. I have been searching for them for a number of years and the photo was truly appreciated.
Thanks again,

RE: Thanks!
Not sure if you noticed, but I added John Cahoe to the Union Cemetery. I had started taking pics of stones there. Not sure if this is a help or hinderance. Let me know.

Armstrong History
John T Cahoe 127657036
Hi - I claimed your request for John T Cahoe #127657036 at the Kelso Cemetery. I left a message to say that I walked entire cemetery but could not find the gravestone.

I saw that you posted a copy of the obit which says John T Cahoe was buried at the Kelso Cemetery.

I did a quick Google search and found a PDF document with a listing of the Union Cemetery in Kaukauna, Outagamie Co, WI. Interestingly, there is a John T Cahoe listed in this document.

The burial date is March 12 1932, the lot owner is Mrs. John T Cahoe, with Block B, Lot 9, Grave 3 listed as the grave location.

I took at quick look at the Find a Grave listings for Union Cemetery, however did not see a memorial page for John T Cahoe. The only Cahoe listed at the Union Cemetery is Chester Cahoe - which the lot owner is listed as Mrs. John T. Cahoe. Maybe John is buried at the Union Cemetery?

I won't be able to get to the Union Cemetery for a few weeks due to my work schedule otherwise I would check it for you.

Here is the link to the PDF document. Hope this info is helpful for you.

Tombstone Treasures
David Vernon Cowden

I am the volunteer that claimed your request for a photograph of Mr. Cowden's headstone. Unfortunately, there is no headstone for Mr. Cowden and it is unknown if there ever was one placed.

I did take a picture of the burial plot and Evergreen Cemetery confirmed the area I have starred in the photograph is the plot where Mr. Cowden is buried.

If I can be of further assistance please let me know.

You are very welcome. My Uncle Ivan Johnson worked for Cowden Auto Supply in Springfield. When I was a young girl I met his boss was in the place of business but the memories to vague for me to know anything more. So in some ways I have a bit of tie to the Cowden family. By my family association. I always mark graves that does not have a monunent with flowers to help someone at least see the area their family is in. I know I would appreciate it if someone did same for me. They have in fact when there was no monument. Hazelwood Cemetery is the one spot I research the most.
