|Tami||Thomas Warner $59336968|
I am trying to trace the family of Thomas Warner, buried in the Deer Creek Cem in Meadow Grove, Madison Co. Nebraska - and saw the photo of his marker you have posted. Do you know anything about the son Charles H. Warner, born about 1846 in Illinois?
I believe Charles was in the Civil War, enlisting in IL, and he lists his residence as Guilford, Winnebago Co. IL - which is where Thomas Warner and wife Rectina were in 1850 and 1860. So I am fairly certain this Charles in the Civil War is the one who died near here in Washington State in 1901.
I am trying to locate family, and also his wife and marriage info. The pension application does not name wife - but there was later a widow's application. We are reconstructing his burial site, and found a marker for him listing his Civil War information, so now know where he is buried (Pioneer Cemetery in Arlington, Washington). We have linked him to Thomas. But we are having difficulty in finding the name of his wife. I don't believe she is the Hattie, wife of the Charles and Hattie in Fillmore Co. Neb. That Charles was from Ogle Co. IL, also enlisting in the War, but uses consistently the middle initial of "A".
Would love to hear if you are family, and may have further info.

|Loren Bender||re Lester John Hoelscher|
Hello Lori anda I am a researcher from Omaha Nebraska. I research all the Nebraska world war II hero's and try to honor them by finding out as much as we can and put that on their Memorials including the links to their parents and siblings.
I don't know if your aware of a hero from your area. Lester John Hoelscher was on the USS Arizona when it was bombed and sunk at Pearl Harbor Dec. 7, 1941. Elmer Hoelscher was his brother but I cant locate the graves of his Parents Frank and Mary Hoelscher. I am sure they are buried in Madison but cant prove it. If you could be so kind as help me honor this hero I would be very grateful. I did add his father as a memorial but put cemetery unknown. Thanks in Advance.

|Mary TS||Edith Allen Wells -- #142514235|
I believe I jumped the gun concerning Edith and Dorothy -- it appears that the maiden name of Dorothy was Allen (which I neglected to notice when I happened upon her memorial.) And although Edith also has the name Allen associated with her, I'm beginning to think I've made a mistake in associating Edith Allen Wells with John Thomas Wells -- so never mind!!

|Mary TS||Edith Allen Wells -- #142514235|
I am wondering if you know Edith's maiden name? I am researching a John Thomas Wells, whose first wife was the mother of John Thomas Jr. and Dorothy Blanche Wells. I believe that Edith may have been his 1st wife, and because Dorothy was residing with an uncle Daniel Lynch when the 1920 U.S. Census was enumerated, I'm thinking that Edith may have been his sister (they both were born in Nebraska.) And Dorothy Blanche (Diederich) is also buried in Crown Hill Cemetery.
I realize you are managing a great many memorials, and that my explanation above was a little convoluted -- just thought I'd take a chance because I have hit a brick wall.

Many thanks, Lori, for the Fehringer and Wessel photos. Thanks, too, for the added information about Tina Jane. So far I haven't been able to find anything on her. My guess is she was a niece of Christine.
Thank you for your time! I really appreciate it!

I'm not quite clear on what you meant about searching for Keith. Is he in St. Leonard's Cemetery? I'll change it on the memorial if that is wrong. Thanks again.

Thanks for the list. Yesterday was too rainy and windy. It's so weird that I cannot get the "page" of photo requests to advance. I can look at those at the first of the list and realpha them and look at those on the last part but nothing in between.
I'll see what I can do about your request. I work with ecological restoration so we're in "burn season" now. It will probably need to be after that.
