Family Tree Coordinator
Cunningham
Hi Arlo,

I am looking for more information on the Cunningham side - specifically for Mary Cunningham Curis' parents. She is my 3rd great grandmother and I'm stuck without more information. Any thoughts?

RE: Christoffer Hendrick Snell
Hi, Arlo,
No, I'm not related.
I just come across things while I am doing other memorials and try to "fix" things that I see that need it.
One thing I do for a pdf file is take a screen shot, then put it into a PowerPoint slide and crop it, then save it as a photo.
Or, can you right click on the pdf on your screen and then save it as a photo?
If you want, you could email it to me (bobbardo2@cs.com) and I'll do it.
Bob

Hi, Arlo,
For some reason, the photo of the Marriage record of Christoffer Hendrick Snell can not be viewed.
Do you know what is wrong?
Thank you,
Bob

Elizabeth Brattle 149752554

Hi Arlo

She is possibly Elizabeth Skeere - married Thomas Brattle 15 Sep 1700 in Tenterden - although this would be after the birth of their son

That is the only Elizabeth on record in this date range associated with Thomas Brattle

Not much help, but it's all I found

Cheers

Hi Arlo

Have a look at his memorial again 149753341 - I did some more digging - found his Will and Kent Monumental Inscriptions had the death date wrong

He did die in 1772 and his memorial page is now correct and updated with additional info

Thanks for the email

Kind Regards
Jan

Arlo

His Probate record says he died in 1876.

The Bio narrative on his memorial page is incorrect and I've sent a message to Find a Grave to take it off and replace it the corrected information

So far, this is all I know

Hi Arlo

The monumental inscription ends with "and 5 other children died in infancy" - it wasn't something I wrote, it is actually engraved on the stone so I took it as truth

RE: Elizabeth Brattle

Hi Arlo

I got the information from Kent Monumental Inscriptions for Goudhurst, the Ancestry website, the Woodchurch marriage database and the internet at large.

Also from photographing that cemetery last year, which hopefully I will get over to do again next month so I can finish uploading the photos to Find a Grave.

Don't you and "Trippy Von Brainstorm" share family? I ask because we used to work together quite a bit on here.

Any assistance I can be to you, please contact me, I'm happy to help.

Kindest Regards
Jan

RE: Help
My mom has a list for that cemetery & I couldn't find your gg grandfather Junia Warner (died 15 Aug 1884) buried there. In fact, there is nobody listed in that cemetery with that Surname.

I live in Rincon Ga but grew up at Carr Lake 2 miles north of the Warnrville store. Mr warner gave me my first haircut and I never forgot him. Can't remember his first name but he must have been born in the late 1800s.

RE: Kimpton
Hello,

It is very nice to hear from you. I am married to Lucy’s son, Charles Van Fleet and have been helping his sister, Caroline fill in some blanks in the family tree. I recognize your name from a family tree that Caroline gave me a few yrs ago. It is about a 4 pg doc outlining the Kimpton family starting with William Robert Kimpton b. abt 1815 in England. The paper mentions some information about Robert Kimpton was taken from the family bible “in possession of Arlo Curtis’. I don’t know who did this outline of the family. Caroline told me it was a second or third cousin in Washington (if I remember correctly). Are you familiar with this doc?

I am glad that you confirmed your grandmother, Anna May and my husband’s grandfather, Arthur were half siblings. I have 2 pictures that Caroline believes is Anna with her brother, Arthur and other family members. Maybe you would confirm that for me? I don't see how to attach them here. Maybe you would send me your email address?

I will continue to connect the family as I find more members. I believe there are still 4 or 5 siblings I haven’t found yet for findagrave.
Thanks again for getting in touch.
Best regards,
Mary Rose Van Fleet
