I was wondering if you have a picture of her grave? Was there a headstone or marker? She was my Grandfathers sister. Are there anymore Coopers around her or maybe Richardson? Thanks for your help.

|Paula Claiborne||Virginia K Smith Claiborne,|
Can you tell me if you have Virginia K Smith Claiborne Hart on your abstracts? According to her death certificate, she was buried in Oakwood Cemetery Mar 23, 1978. Her first husband (& father of her children) was Irvin Palmer Claiborne, memorial # 126875555. 2nd husband was R B Hart(?), death & burial unknown.
If we find Virginia, I'd like to tie her to Irvin Palmer & sons' Palmer Ray "Sonny Smith Claiborne, & Charles Delmar Claiborne, both buried in Dallas Co Texas.

Information is always welcome, was at her funeral as she was in the family, but that was a LONG time ago (I was just over 5). Had a hard time finding where she was buried. Thanks

Thank you so much for the work you have done in photographing the graves in Oakwood. I have found the marker for my great, great grandfather Reuben (Ruben) Nowell.

|Robert Hague||Norvell Ward Harris|
Thank you for the Civil War info on Norvell Ward Harris. Some of it is duplicate information already shown on the memorial; however, since you gave the source, I posted it just as you sent it. Thank you for adding a little flesh to these dry bones.

Hi, I am working on connecting the family. Can you tell me if Agnes's husband Michael Findlon would happen to be there, too? I do not see an entry for him.

Thank you for the information to update his memorial. I was motivated to do a little more research and found his parents' memorials also. His father was actually John T. Fretwell, not John G. as it appears on the death certificate.
I appreciate your input. Keep up the great work!

|glenda wheeler||William & Alabama Leonard|
Thank you for looking for the headstone for William & Alabama Leonard. Did you get the plot or section form the cemetery office? It is not stated on the FInd a Grave memorial.
It seems there is no headstone for these graves.
Thank you again for all you do for FInd a Grave.

|Sue Armstrong||Geo Virgil Dorman-Oakwood|
Thank you for the info on his TDC, I did show that name in the Bio, but double checked my info on Ancestry and his father's actual name was Carnie B Dorman. Carnie & Eva divorced, she then married Garfield M Goggans who raised her 3 children with Carnie. In fact they considered Garfield their dad instead of Carnie or Corrant. Thank you again, Sue Armstrong

Thank you for the information for Mary Fisher Huff and her son Boyd Huff. I reall appreciate knowing that they are buried in this cemetery but that there is no headstone marker for them. That information has been added to both of their memorials.

|Kathleen Casey Manna||Memorial # 115199330 Hume Field Worsham|
Thank you so much for adding the entry for Hume Field Worsham. He is my great grandfather. Could you please correct the spelling of his first name from Hugh to Hume? Or if you would like to transfer the memorial to me, I would be happy to make the change myself. I was so excited to see his memorial in FindAGrave. Thank you very much for your hard work! |Laura V||Ulric Voltaire Dalton|
You left an edit suggestion for Ulric's birth place as Texas. I am wondering if you'd please share your source for this info.
As explained on his memorial, his death certificate and some census records do say place of birth is Texas BUT other census records indicate Mississippi. Since all of his siblings, including his younger sister born 3 years after Ulric, were all born in Mississippi, I tend to believe Ulric was also born in MS.
The earliest I can place this family in Texas is through tax records in 1896.
Your help is much appreciated!
