Emersons Plot
Fred Nyros

I claimed Fred's request and went to find his plot for you to confirm the existence of a tree. With research I found that there are graves attributed to the Schuler and Henning's families behind plot 0402. While there is no marker, there is no tree in that spot. I uploaded a picture of the approximate place of the grave with the aforementioned tombstones in the background, to show you what the area looks like.

Thanks, Barbara E

RE: Fred Nyros
I'll be happy to send you those pictures.

I don't think the tree is in the exact spot of the grave. As you'll see in the photo, the tree is 4 or 5 feet to one side of where the grave should be.

I don't know if I have your direct email address or not, so you'd best send it to me. I don't think I can attach anything here.

Hi Frank ~

I went to Brookdale Cemetery today and found plot 0402, where Fred Nyros is supposed to be buried. There is no marker of any kind, but there is a very big, old tree next to the spot. I did take a picture of the spot and will be happy to upload it if you would like or simply email it to you. I also took a pic of the other Nyros headstone there, the same one that is on Find A Grave. If that's of any use to you, I'll be happy to email that as well.

RE: Jesse Groat
It was easy to find. I notice that the marker indicates her first name as Jessie.

Hi Frank ~

I also found a couple of mistakes I made in copying down the information, so my plan is to go back and try again. The caretaker of the cemetery tried to help last time, but partly because I had some of the info wrong even he didn't have any luck. He told me to come back after Memorial Day and we'd look again. I'll try to get there this coming week.

Hello Frank,
I just noticed that I have created a duplicate memorial. Cousins by the Dozens created one earlier. They are nice folks and will gladly add any information. I believe I have a marker photo I can add to the memorial. I will add the photo to the older memorial and delete the one I created.

RE: Donald Groat Cameron 27397173
Here is some of what was written in his obituary in the Watertown Daily Times. I've added it to his memorial, along with filling in full dates, linking him to his wife, and adding the marker photo. If you would like me to email you the full obit, just let me know. Its too recent to be allowed to be posted verbatim on find-a-grave.

Donald Cameron was born and raised in Massachusetts, graduating from Quincy High School. He was the son of Atwood and Elizabeth Grote Cameron. He moved to Ogdensburg shortly after, and started work at the Standard Shade Roller company, before going to work for the National Bank of Ogdensburg in 1927. He married Mary E. Martin on August 15, 1936 at her parents home in Ogdensburg. Donald continued working for the bank, which later became known as Ogdensburg Trust Co, rising to the rank of President of the Bank. He retired in 1975.

He was survived by two sons, a daughter, sister, seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

If you look in the upper right corner of the memorial, you will see a "Delete" link. You should be able to delete your memorial with that.
I'll transfer my memorial to you, and you can add the info that you have.

RE: Breach at Lakenham
If it helps you out and I can do it, I will.
The memorial for your G.G.G. grandfather John
Breach already has photos. Frank since this is your
ancestor you should ask annemarie naphen for management of this memorial. She seems like a nice person, she might give it to you.
I'll probably go to Lakenham one day this coming week and I'll take photos of the area around Mary J.
Breach and I'll check the area to see if there is evidence of any other grave markers.
Frank are your going to ask annemarie for management of John Breach? Or do you not feel comfortable asking? Let me know. Sandy

Do you want me to take photos of the area around
Mary Jane Breach's gravestone as a possible area where William & his second wife were buried?
Let me know. Have a good day, Sandy

You are now in control of your family members. I will look for little Freddie on my next visit after the snow melts. It's been a pleasure, good luck.

RE: John Breach
It is not necessary to delete all of your memorials.
Just the duplicate on John Breach. That is only because a memorial on John Breach was already done before you added your memorial. Your memorials are good so please do not delete them all.
As far as using photos, Find A Grave does not want us to use photos taken by others without permission.
Whoever took the photo holds the copyright to that photo. You cannot copy photos without permission. One of the photos that you added to your John Breach memorial was taken by me. You cannot add another persons photo to your memorial and then put under the photo that is was added by you. The photo was not taken by you.
I don't mean to sound harsh, but that is the way it is. If I can help you in any way I will.
Take Care, Sandy

PVT John Breach, Lakenham Cemetery, Carver, Mass.
Memorial #102681482.
The photo you added to this memorial is MY PHOTO! You did not ask me permission for use of it, and you put that it was added by you!
First of all your memorial is a duplicate. Annemarie naphen had a memorial for John Breach before you submitted yours. I would like my photo removed from your memorial. Your memorial should also be removed because it is a duplicate. I highly recommend that you read the FAQs.
