Mansfield-Woodhouse Cemetery
Dear Steve,
Thank-you for finding the various tombstones at the Mansfield-Woodhouse Cemetery. They are very very old and are rapidly losing their legibility. Your preservation efforts are greatly appreciated.

Charles Achey
thanks for the photo- still leaves the name as Ache or Achey for the family, as well as Bader and Bauder. Guess each person chose how to spell it!

Welp.. I no sooner sent my message to you and she reappeared.. I see that you were the creator of the memorial so I'm thinking you might have been editing it and that's why I couldn't access it for the moment.. ??

but all is well now.. so thanks again..

Hi Steve.. Thank you for confirming the dates for me.. funny thing is tho.. now the memorial has somehow vanished.. poof.. it no longer exists.. so either there is a glitch in the system or whomever created it has since deleted it.. I dunno.. I'll give it a day or two and see if she pops back up.. if not I'll create another and let ya know..

Thanks for all you do.. it's truly appreciated!!

RE: Eliza A Shimer date of death.
Thanks Steve... yeah I saw the discrepancy as well on the NJ death index.. I can only assume that perhaps there was a transcription error with that record.. because the inscribed death date of 1890 fits with her birthdate & age at time death as being 73 yrs & 11 mos..

As far as a transfer.. you can if you want.. as I am a Shimer descendant, but it's not necessary.. I'm just happy to see the photographs & know that she has memorial on here.. I do appreciate your time and all that you do for find a grave..

Shimer photos
Hi Steve.. I was wondering if you would grant me permission to use your headstone photos of John N. (#31582158) & Eliza A. Carpenter Shimer (#12744023) on my family tree on Ancestry?

I also want to thank you for taking and posting these photos and for creating the memorial for Eliza.. I'll be contacting you with some edits for her memorial as soon as I gather up all of her information.

Thank-you for discovering the grave stone for George Warne. As far as I know, is the oldest tombstone of any Warne family descendant still in it's original location. You have preserved a piece of history.
Keep up the good work!
