Thank you so much for posting such excellent photos of the headstones for Ole Ottersen, his wife Anna Martine, and his two daughters, Anna Marie and Ragna Margarthe. I love it when the photos are well focused, appropriately framed, and high resolution - you get an A+. Excellent job that is very much appreciated.

|Dani Mitchell||Thank you!|
I very much appreciate your contributions to Find A Grave. Specifically, I appreciate you looking for H. and Mrs. Luce in the cemetery they are supposed to be buried in. Strange that there is no marker but thank you for documenting what information you could find!

|Kathy Feltman||RE: Reinhold and Bertha Herman|
Sorry, I forgot to mention there is a memorial on Find a Grave that lists both Reinhold and Bertha in Christ Lutheran Cemetery but there is no picture. I do not know the person who put up the memorial in January 2013.

I don't have an obituary for Reinhold. He died in 1922. The one for Bertha says: Funeral services were held at Christ Lutheran Church on June 13. Interment in Hamilton Cemetery. She died 6-9-1946. Thank you for your efforts.

Thank you for trying to find these graves. Is there a Hamilton Cemetery near you. I rechecked the obituary and that may be a possibility. Thank you for your efforts.

by chance does the cemetery have a record of when this F. Shoemaker died? This might help clear up the confusion too.

|Maureen||RE: Shoemaker stones, Neshonoc Cemetery|
F. Shoemaker is suppose to be Fred Shoemaker or Schumaker. Martha was his mother and Orlo F. was his father. Orlo remarried after the death of his first wife to a woman with the name Susan. I believe there is a grave marker for them. I would have to look to see for sure if they are in the same cemetery or not. Fred Shoemaker/Schumaker was married to Rectina Jane McCoy. When he died she was pregnant with their daughter so she came home to be with her parents in Minnesota. While in Minnesota she remarried to Charles Laughery. Fred and Rectina had two other sons that are also buried in Minnesota. I was hoping that there was a marker to help clear up the spelling of his name. Since you added a F. Shoemaker to this cemetery there is now three memorials for the same person. One that I had created a few years back, one that some one else added and now yours. My memorial has the last name as Shoemaker/Schumaker. His son's and grand children spell the name Schumaker but his obit has Shoemaker. I have seen in the records for Monroe county that his last name was also spelled Schoemaker.
Thank you for taking the time to go out to the cemetery to see if you can find a grave marker. It is either one of two things, there is not a marker or the grass has grown over it like so many I have found around here.
