Flip Pal scanner
You can only find it online as far as I know...about $160. I use it to get JPG pics from books and use it to get a JPG image of an obituary so that I can post it on Find A Grave. You can plug the card into your computer to download the images then crop them and post them. The screen is appox 6 inches by 4 inches. You can also paste together larger images. I haven't tried that yet.

RE: Bragg
Yes I have done some on the Bragg side my paternal grandmother was Dorothy Catherine Bragg daughter of Chilton Ernest Bragg 1883-1913 and Anna Espy Katon Bragg, Chilton was the son of Rev. Charles Michael and Iva Catherine Lee Bragg and that is where it leads me to William Wise Lee and Susannah Blose Lee... would be interested in knowing if you are related to Chilton Bragg

Remember me
Marion Braboy - Browns Chapel
Just wondering if you have questions about my prior message. I note that you haven't corrected the spelling and haven't moved to the correct location. Again, he's not at Brown's chapel,,,should be moved to St. John's UME in Williamsburg County.

Remember me
Marion Brayboy
You have placed a memorial for Marion Brayboy in Brown's Chapel in Florence, SC, believe to be the wrong location, I've photoed the entire cemetery, he's not there. You have as a female memorial with maiden name, that is wrong. I attached an obituary showing burial in St. John's Cemetery, and believe you will find that to be St. John's UME in Williamsburg County on Green Road, no not the one in Florence County. Any questions, let me know and I'll explain further.
Thanks -- Don

I'm sorry for your loss. I will be happy to remove it but i need to know who or Find A Grave# you are talking about. The death certificates for me is more of informational purposes for future generations when both you and i are gone. I too have had tragic loss but it's all in that persons perspective and emotions as to what goes on a memorial. I do respect your wishes and will gladly remove the death certificate.

Hi - not related to me that I can see - my Porters pretty much stayed in the lower Southeast. If something turns up I will let you know.

Forgot to tell I went back and put her full name in - a project I have been meaning to do for a while on several - I am double related to Cansas - both through the Rooks and Williamson line -- a lot of my Rooks ancestors married my Williamson ancestors - it gets quite confusing!

RE: Rascoe
Nelda Rascoe was the only one in Brooke Cemetery, which is the only one I've completely documented. There are plenty of other cemeteries in town where I have not been though ...
Happy Hunting!

RE: Willoughby
Hello Connie,
I apologize for my delayed reply. I don't get a chance to get on here as much as before, since I took myself out of retirement and went back to work full-time. Anyway, I have met a few unknown relatives through find-a-grave and It has been a real pleasure to hear from these people. I have done a lot of research on both sides of my father's family in Shelby County, Texas. This would be the Porter family and the Walker family. I have attended a "dinner-on-the ground" at Sardis Cemetery before, which did include people tied in with my Porter family, but have not heard of any family reunion taking place over there. If I hear of one, I will try to attend. Thanks for staying in touch.

If its the picture I'm thinking of it's in one of the books Pictorial History of Sabine County Texas. Book Two I think. Somebody named Sanders had talked to me and my parents a few years back. My parents are John Hall and Frances Edwina Conn Hall. All the pictures I have I put on my site so everyone who is interested can get them. Thanks for your interest Regards Charlotte Hall Pool

grandma sally's memorial
Mom, on the memorial page it has mamaw sally's birthdate as march 27. But on her death certificate it lists it as March 04, 1896.Don't know which one is right, but you might look into it.

Could you please give me more information on John Thomas Wise. Number or which cemetery he is in. I work in several different cemeteries and with this just a name it is very hard to find. Blessings...Prissy

RE: Willoughby
Hello Connie,

Piney Jane Willoughby was married to Pinkney Porter, who was a brother to my great grandfather, Oscar Porter. Their sister, Emma Caroline Porter, was married to William Jefferson Willoughby, a 1st cousin to Piney Jane Willoughby. Good to hear from you! Good luck with your research.
