Use of photo and information
Thank you so much for your unselfish giving to those of us who can't travel to all the many places where our ancestors are buried. I wish everyone had you outlook---that we should be helping instead of trying to build our ego with how many photo's we have posted. Thanks again for your generosity.

RE: Mahlon Allred info
I now what you mean, Mahlon's son, Charles is my great great grandfather some reason he went further west to Washington I am currently trying find document proof were Mahlon's buried cause its confusing with two tombstones two states two cementarys, I really hope he's not on his first wife's tombstone too..now that would be confusing I wanted keep both tombstones pictures up cause they do have his name..even if i'm not for sure which spot he is at.

Gladys Tovrea Brandstoettner
RE: James Hancock
I have yet to find my 2nd great grandmother's burial. She died 3 Dec 1897 in Wayne County at her sister's home. I am sure she would have been brought back to Mt Pleasant, but no documentation found yet. Her name was Amanda M Tovrea, wife of William F Tovrea and daughter of James & Rachel Hancock.

If in your wanderings you find her, please let me know.

Thank you so much for all you do for us!

Gladys

Terry L Westmoreland
Joshua Ammons
Hello Leec!

I have sent a query to the creator of Joshua's memorial on Find a Grave.

LaDon Brennan posted flowers and the following note on Joshua's Find a Grave memorial in 2008:

May be Joshua Hamilton Ammons, son of Eugene Ammons and Malinda Stoneking. Malinda Stoneking Ammons is buried in this cem, it is believed that Eugene is as well.
- LaDon Brennan
Added: Sep. 27, 2008

The actual memorial was created on 6 Sep 2006.

Perhaps, there are simply no gravestones.

Thanks,
Terry

Also I meant to ask since it seems that this is a family you are working on for yourself or someone else, but was there a WL Harris and D Harris because I found a headstone that was their daughter her name was ethel but I did not find her parents in the Harris Cemetery at least no one named WL or D Harris names

I am not sure who is married to whom. If you find someone, I will be happy to place a request for a stone pic? Thanks

Have a local teacher that logged in all the graves there, so she's checking it out for me. Thanks again.

Thank you so much for the beautiful photos. I especially appreciate that you were able to piece Samuel's marker together for me. I never expected to see a request from Iowa fulfilled in December. What a great Christmas surprise.

That request had been out there for years, so it was very exciting to see this show up! I also appreciate that you took several photos and that you plan to look into the neighboring headstone. This is really appreciated!
