John Johnson1858-1943

I observed, you stated John Johnson was your GGgrandfather. I have several ancestors buried at Whitewater Cemetery. Elizabeth Thompson was born March 1871, died March 1950. She was the daughter of Carroll 1842-1912, and Robeca Jane (Umfleet) 1847-1912. I have spent several hours on my Grandmother family, the Thompson's.
On July 22, 1910, in Yount, Perry County, Elizabeth gave birth to a son; Orville Earl Johnson. Orville is the son of John Johnson. However, John was still married to Amanda Nancy (Caruthers) Johnson. Amanda was born 1856, and died 1924. John and Amanda had eleven known children. Elizabeth's headstone reads Elizabeth Johnson. Her Missouri Death Certificates, states; Elizabeth Thompson Johnson. Name of Husband John Johnson. Orville and his wife Esther Florence (Hutson) Johnson; are both buried at Whitewater. These are the facts, as I have researched them. If you have any factual information to this record, please advise. Was it possible, John Johnson was married, to both Amanda and Elizabeth, at the same time? Thank You in advance. Linda
