Hi...I just located my father's grave on this site and was wondering what the link "maintained by Amy C." was referring to. What do you actually maintain? The online info or the actual grave? Just curious. Thanks.

RE: Where is Mount Olive Cemetery
I just put the GPS coordinates into GoogleEarth and then looked in Google Maps. If you put the little yellow man on the street and look via street view, you can see the cemetery clearly and can see that it's right beside the road:

I think a church used to be there but no longer exists. The cLocations website refers to the church as "historical."

RE: Where is Mount Olive Cemetery
Does the map on the Find-a-Grave cemetery page not get you there? I don't remember the cemetery at all but doubt that I would be able to describe its location any more clearly than the map does. I normally use GPS coordinates to find a cemetery, but even without a GPS receiver, you should be able to follow the map -- zooming out on the map to see general location, zooming in on the map for the names of the small streets, etc. In this case it appears that you go north (northeast) on Hwy 25 (Lakeland Drive) from Jackson until you get to Manship Road. Turn left on Manship Road, and the cemetery will be on your left.

RE: Where is Mount Olive Cemetery
Hi, Amy -- Which Mt. Olive Cemetery are you talking about? I just did a search and found that there are sixty Mt. Olive Cemeteries in Mississippi.

Sorry.
I hit a wrong button and reported that he was buried in the Potters Field. This is not correct. Please request the photo again.

Again, sorry
Dale

Thank you for your comments. I have made the additions that you requested to your loved one. If you know the birthdate, I can add that as well. I also knew George's son Billy. He and I attended Edison School together in Gary.

Be blessed

I will gladly transfer them to you if you will use the edit button on their memorial and request a transfer. I do not like to do it with just the names because sometimes I may tranfer the wrong person.

thanks,
Mary
