Duplicate memorials
Hello Antoinette,

Since you are new to Find A Grave, did you realize that in making an entry for Oscar Robinette - you (probably) hit the enter key twice and made 2 memorials.

Also - you have duplicated entries already entered almost 5 years ago by:

Created by: L. Reilly
Record added: Nov 02, 2007
Find A Grave Memorial# 22629041

And those entries have photos of the markers left for Oscar and Fannie Kidd Robinette.

Here are some things you could do - you can go the memorials you created and use the keys on the left to see all Robinettes in this cemetery - then all 5 memorial will come up.

Go to the oldest memorials. On the UPPER RIGHT there is a tab key - "Edit." Click there and you can send a note direct to the person who created those original, earlier memorials.

You need your Find A Grave member number, but here you can explain your relationship and ask if they would make a transfer to you for the memorial.

It is possible they also are related, and they do not have to transfer, but their member page states they are willing to transfer to others related.

IF they will transfer, then you can MERGE the memorial together. You will have those photos of the monuments, all of the comments and can erase the duplications.

Helen Collins
RE: Martha Ellen Collins
I do have another photo of Martha. I will find it today and post it to her memorial page. You are welcome to use any of the material I post for her. So far all I find is 1930 census record for Martha and Elbert. She will be hard to track. I will post what I find to her page and contact you if anything good comes up. I don't know where this Collins clan originated. Martha's grandfather is James Harvey Collins, killed in battle, Floyd County, during civil war days. I don't know James' father.

I don't mind the messages at all, it's the only way we learn. Thank you for the additional information about Martha. I feel sure we are speaking of the same lady. If I can help with census records, just let me know and I will search out what I can find. I've never looked much for Martha; my husbands line is her brother, Elijah. I do have a picture that we believe to be Martha and I will send that to your sisters email address asap. Helen

RE: Martha Ellen Collins
My husbands line of Collins are from Floyd County, Kentucky. His great-aunt is Martha Ellen Collins 1874-1972; she is the daughter of John R. and Rhonda Jessee Collins. Two of Martha's sisters married Kidd men...Hester (Stanford) Collins Kidd and Wilda (Columbus) Collins Kidd. I notice your postings in the Kidd Cemetery. Other siblings of Martha are: Elijah, Larry Donald, Johnny, Harve and Jim.
I have a couple of marriages for Martha, as Carl Keathley and Howard Frasier. The marriage info was passed to me by my mother-in-law. I have not verified that, she was generally correct in her remembrance of such stuff though.
If I can be of further help, let me know. This appears to be all the information I have on Martha but I would be willing to help, if you feel like there is a connection. Helen
